DevilDriver is an American heavy metal band from Santa Barbara, California, formed in 2002, consisting of vocalist Dez Fafara, lead guitarist Mike Spreitzer, bassist Jon Miller, rhythm guitarist Alex Lee and drummer Davier Pérez. The band was originally named Deathride, however, due to copyright issues and the name being taken by several bands, the band changed its name to DevilDriver.

The album entered the Billboard charts at number 117, with sales of 10,402. A special edition of the album was released on October 31, 2006. The album is available in several different configurations which can include bonus tracks or a live DVD. It would be DevilDriver's last album with founding members John Boecklin and Jeff Kendrick before both of them left the band in October 2014.
