This landscape is located around 8 km east from the Arabian Sea and 8 km west from Kunnamkulam which is divided into two portions by the Guruvayoor-Ponnani Main Road. The income in this locality is mainly depended on the remittances of Non-Resident Indians (NRI's) and agriculture.

Trichambaram Temple

Trichambaram Temple is a Krishna temple located at Taliparamba in the Kannur district of Kerala, South India. The temple is believed to have got the name from Thiru Shambara or the Holy Shambara in reverence to Maharishi Shambara who is supposed to have meditated here. The main deity of the temple is Shree Krishna after "Kamsavadham", sitting in Raudra posture.
