Disco 2 is the second remix album by English synth-pop duo Pet Shop Boys,released on 12 September 1994 by Parlophone. It consists of remixes of songs from the duo's albums Behaviour (1990) and Very (1993),as well as B-sides from the time.
Technotronic was a Belgian electronic music project formed in 1987 by Jo Bogaert,best known for the 1989 single "Pump Up the Jam",which features vocals by Ya Kid K. Released on November 6,1987 in the United Kingdom,Europe and Japan only,it contains remixes of singles from Control,following the success of the album. This backing beat is kept basic so as to simplify mixing and to not compete with the music. These mixes are usually several minutes long at minimum,going up to a half-hour or an hour,or even more sometimes.

"Every Little Hit Mega Mix",a medley of "Every Little Step","On Our Own","Don't Be Cruel",and "My Prerogative",was released as a single to promote the album but was not included on the album itself. The UK and European version of the megamix was titled "The Free Style Mega-mix" and was produced by Rita Liebrand;the Australian version,"The 'Every Little Hit' Mix",was released as a B-side on the European version of the "Roni" single.

As with the rest of the series,the album features dance music styles of the time including techno,acid house and hip house.

Jo Bogaert is a Belgian musician,songwriter,and record producer. Working under his own name and a long list of pseudonyms,he is the man behind Technotronic and is considered to have been one of the most successful artists in the new beat genre.
