The Women's College National is a team handball tournament to determine the College National Champion from the US.
The best college team from the Women's National was claimed as collegiate champion from 1975 until 1996. After the Olympic Games in 1996 in Atlanta the College Nationals were founded. [1]
Record champion is the West Point with at minimum 24 titles. The college has also the most continuous titles with six from 2012 through 2017.

Cael Norman Sanderson is an American former folkstyle and freestyle wrestler who is the current head coach of Penn State's wrestling team. As a wrestler, he won an Olympic gold medal and was undefeated in four years of college wrestling at Iowa State (159–0), becoming a four-time NCAA Division I champion (1999–2002).
The Air Force Falcons are the intercollegiate athletic teams that represent the United States Air Force Academy, located in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Meghan Duggan is an American former ice hockey forward and director of player development for the New Jersey Devils of the National Hockey League. She played for the United States at the 2010 Winter Olympics and 2014 Winter Olympics, winning two silver medals; she was the captain of the U.S. team at the 2018 Winter Olympics, where she won a gold medal. She also represented the United States at eight Women's World Championships, capturing seven gold medals and one silver medal. Duggan played collegiate hockey with the Wisconsin Badgers between 2006 and 2011. After her senior season (2010–11), Duggan was named the winner of the Patty Kazmaier Award, presented annually to the top women's ice hockey player in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). After her career at Wisconsin, Duggan was the team's all-time leading scorer. She was drafted 8th overall by the Boston Blades in the 2011 CWHL Draft.
West Point Team Handball is a handball club from West Point, New York, United States. They are the handball team of the United States Military Academy. They play with four teams at various competitions. There are two teams for each gender. The West Point Black team is the first team and the West Point Gold team is the second team. They have won the most College National Championships in their collegiate league with the men's team winning their 15th consecutive College National Championship in 2023 at Tiffin University.

The University of Virginia played extremely well, wildly outperforming expectations behind strong performances from the outgoing fourth-year class, but ultimately fell short in the final to the machine-like cadets from West Point. UVA has improved vastly over the last three years, and has risen to the elite ranks of collegiate team handball.

The Men's Elite Division is a team handball tournament to determine the National Champion from the US. Only qualified teams are allowed to play in this division. The other teams who fail to qualify play in the Open Division. Automatic bids are given to the winners of the Northeast Team Handball League, and the Midwest Team Handball and, in the past, were also given to the Great Lakes Team Handball Association, and Western Team Handball League. In the current format, the Elite Division comprises 8 teams. Before the Elite Division existed the National Champion was claimed at the Open Division.
The men's open national is a USA Team Handball tournament to determine the handball open national champion from the US. This is the second highest level of competition in the United States. Not qualified teams for the men's elite division are allowed to play in this division. Before the men's elite division was established, the national champion was crowned at the open division.
The women's open national is a USA Team Handball tournament to determine the national handball champion from the US. Chicago Inter holds the most title in the women's division. The current US reigning champion is San Francisco CalHeat.
