Vairamuthu is an Indian lyricist, poet, and novelist working in the Tamil film industry. [1] A master's graduate from the Pachaiyappa's College in Chennai, he first worked as a translator, while also being a published poet. He entered the Tamil film industry in the year 1980, with the film Nizhalgal , an Ilaiyaraaja musical, directed by Bharathiraja. During the course of his 40-year film career, he has written over 7,500 songs and poems [2] which have won him seven National Awards, the most for any Indian lyricist. He has also been honored with a Padma Shri, a Padma Bhushan [3] and a Sahitya Akademi Award, [4] for his abundant literary output.

His association With A. R. Rahman is notable. Their association has won four out of six National Awards for A. R. Rahman and four out of seven National Awards for Vairamuthu. His association with filmmaker Mani Ratnam is also very well known and highly successful. The trio (A. R. Rahman, Vairamuthu, Mani Ratnam) completed 25 years of their successful association in 2017.

Vikram Dharma was an Indian action choreographer in the Tamil film industry in Indian cinema. He won the Filmfare Award for Best Action for Yuva. He was the son of fight master R. N. Nambiar who was known for his works in MGR's movies. He worked with actor Kamal Haasan in many films. His working name of "Vikram" was assigned to him once he became acted in Kamal Haasan's movie of the same name in 1986. Stunt masters and Actors like Ponnambalam, Thalapathy Dinesh, K. Ganesh Kumar, Ram Laxman, Anbariv, Mahanadi Shankar, Besant Ravi, Rajendran, T. Ramesh, Indian Baskar, Rajasekhar, Sai Dheena, Azhagu & Vengal Rao have worked as fighters and assistants to him. He died of a heart attack in early 2006.

Tiruchirapalli Srinivasan Rangarajan, professionally credited by his pseudonym Vaali was an Indian poet who has the record for writing the most songs in Tamil cinema. He is also recognised for a five-decade long association in the Tamil film industry and has written over 15,000 songs. He acted in a number of films, including Sathya, Hey Ram, Paarthale Paravasam and Poikkal Kudhirai. He was honoured by the Government of India with the Padma Shri, India's fourth highest civilian honour in 2007.

Chandrabose was an Indian composer and singer. He composed music for more than 300 films between 1977 and 1995. In 2007 he made his debut on the silver screen as an actor.

Vennira Aadai Moorthy is an Indian actor and comedian in Tamil cinema. He has starred in many Tamil films and television serials as a comedian and also played supporting roles. He is a lawyer by education, and holds a B.L. degree in addition to a PhD in astrology. Stunt masters and actors like Rocky Rajesh, Thalapathy Dinesh, Ponnambalam, Ram Laxman, Kundrathur Babu, Indian Baskar, Rajasekhar, Dhilip Subbarayan, Thavasiraj, and Dinesh Subbarayan have worked as fighters and assistants to him. His sons, Dhilip Subbarayan and Dinesh Subbarayan, are also leading stunt masters. He has won four Tamil Nadu State Film Award for Best Stunt Coordinator.

Singamuthu is an Indian actor who has appeared in Tamil language films as a comedian.

Yenigandla Vijaya is an Indian actress and classical dancer. She has appeared in more than 1000 films in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada languages.

Thanga Pazham, known by his screen name Jaguar Thangam, is a stunt choreographer in the Indian film industry who works in almost all regional languages in India primarily in Tamil Cinema. He began Silambam when he was 6 years old. In the middle of 1978, he was given the name Jaguar Thangam by a Malayalam director Mr. Chandrakumar. Following his debut in Chandrakumar's Hindi drama Meena Bazzar (1978) as a stunt coordinator, his stunt career commenced with a brief phase of stunt sequences in nationwide film industry.

Trident Arts is an Indian film production and distribution company based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. It was established in 1987 by R. Ravindran. Since then, it has produced and distributed several Tamil films.
