Venues of the 2010 Asian Games

The 2010 Asian Games featured 53 competition venues and 17 training venues on the sixteen days Games competition from November 12 to November 27, 2010. Of them, eleven competition venues and one training venues are newly built, while the rest are renovated. All of the competition venues will be used after the opening ceremony bar football venues, which will be held from November 7, 2010. For opening and closing ceremonies, they will be held outside the stadium, along the Pearl River in Haixinsha Island.

The stadium was built for the 2013 National Games of China, and switched to other purposes, mainly football, afterwards. Between 2014 and 2020, Dalian Professional F.C. were the tenants.

The ABA Club Championship was an Asian basketball tournament for professional clubs, organised by the Asian Basketball Association (ABA) under Dr. Carl Men Ky Ching. The ABA is not to be confused with FIBA Asia which Dr. Ching had also once presided. The tournament was first held in 1992. It was named Asian Basketball Super League from 1999 to 2001, and came to a climax in 2000. The tournament was suspended between 2002 and 2006, and has been held annually in China between 2007 and 2013. Unlike the FIBA Asia Champions Cup of today, most of ABA Club Championship's participants were from the Far East.

Wuhan New Era Football Club was a Chinese football club based in Wuhan, Hubei Province, founded in 2014 and dissolved in 2016. They attended Chinese FA Cup in 2015.

Beijing Gymnasium is an indoor arena located in Dongcheng District, Beijing, which consists of a main competition hall, a practice hall, and a swimming pool. Built in 1954 with the aid of Soviet architects, it is the first multi-purpose indoor stadium built after the founding of People's Republic of China. It was the venue for badminton competition of 1990 Asian Games. It has been serving as the Fitness Center of National Sports Training Center since 2009.
