The length of the shell attains 9 mm.

Distribution

Vexillum sykesi can be found in Aruba, Belize, Bonaire, the Caribbean Sea, Costa Rica, Cuba, the Gulf of Mexico, the Lesser Antilles, and Panama.; [2] also off Brazil.
