The WTA Tournament Awards are a series of annual Women's Tennis Association (WTA) awards given since the 1995 WTA Tour to the most successful tournaments on the WTA calendar. No awards were given in 2020 due to the shortening of the season caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. [1]

From 1995–2013 one tournament was recognised, from 2014–2016 the award has been distributed in regional categories. From 2017 on, the award was given to one tournament.

Serena Jameka Williams is an American former professional tennis player. Widely regarded as one of the greatest tennis players of all time, she was ranked world No. 1 in singles by the Women's Tennis Association (WTA) for 319 weeks, including a joint-record 186 consecutive weeks, and finished as the year-end No. 1 five times. She won 23 Grand Slam women's singles titles, the most in the Open Era, and the second-most of all time. She is the only player to accomplish a career Golden Slam in both singles and doubles.
Gabriela Beatriz Sabatini is an Argentine-Italian former professional tennis player. A former world No. 3 in both singles and doubles, Sabatini was one of the leading players from the mid-1980s to the mid-1990s, amassing 41 titles. In singles, Sabatini won the 1990 US Open, the Tour Finals in 1988 and 1994, and was runner-up at Wimbledon 1991, the 1988 US Open, and the silver medalist at the 1988 Olympics. In doubles, Sabatini won Wimbledon in 1988 partnering Steffi Graf, and reached three French Open finals. Among Open era players who did not reach the world No. 1 ranking, Sabatini has the most wins over reigning world No. 1 ranked players. In 2006, she was inducted into the International Tennis Hall of Fame and in 2018 Tennis Magazine ranked her as the 20th-greatest female player of the preceding 50 years.

Tatjana Maria is a German professional tennis player. In November 2017 and again in August 2023, she reached her best singles ranking of world No. 46, and in June 2016, she peaked at No. 54 in the doubles rankings.
Petra Kvitová, OLY is a Czech professional tennis player. Known for her powerful left-handed groundstrokes and variety, Kvitová has won 31 career singles titles, including two major titles at Wimbledon in 2011 and in 2014. She also won a bronze medal in singles while representing the Czech Republic at the 2016 Rio Olympics. Her career-high ranking of world No. 2 was achieved on 31 October 2011.
Madison Keys is an American professional tennis player. She has been ranked as high as world No. 7 by the Women's Tennis Association (WTA), which she first achieved in October 2016. Keys has contested a Major singles final at the 2017 US Open, competed at the 2016 WTA Finals, and was a semifinalist at the 2016 Rio Olympics. She has won seven WTA Tour tournaments, six of which were at the Premier level, and won her biggest title at the 2019 Cincinnati Open, a Premier 5 event.
Sloane Stephens is an American professional tennis player. She achieved a career-best ranking of world No. 3 after Wimbledon in 2018. Stephens was the 2017 US Open champion, and has won seven WTA Tour singles titles in total.
Ons Jabeur is a Tunisian professional tennis player. She has a career-high ranking by the Women's Tennis Association (WTA) of world No. 2, achieved on 27 June 2022. Jabeur is the current Tunisian number one, and the highest-ranked African and Arab tennis player in WTA and ATP rankings history. She has won five singles titles on the WTA Tour, as well as eleven singles titles and one doubles title on the ITF Circuit. Jabeur was the runner-up at Wimbledon in 2022 and 2023 and at the US Open in 2022, becoming the first African and Arab woman to contest a major singles final.
Eugenie "Genie" Bouchard is a Canadian professional tennis player. At the 2014 Wimbledon Championships, she became the first Canadian-born player representing Canada to reach the final of a major singles tournament, finishing runner-up to Petra Kvitová. Bouchard also reached the semifinals of the 2014 Australian Open and 2014 French Open. Having won the 2012 Wimbledon girls' title as a junior, she was named WTA Newcomer of the Year at the end of the 2013 WTA Tour. Bouchard received the WTA Most Improved Player award for the 2014 season and reached a career-high ranking of world No. 5, becoming the first Canadian tennis player to be ranked in the top 5 in singles.
Ashleigh Jacinta Barty is an Australian former professional tennis player and cricketer. She was the second Australian tennis player to be ranked world No. 1 in singles by the Women's Tennis Association (WTA), holding the ranking for 121 weeks overall. She was also a top-10 player in doubles, having achieved a career-high ranking of No. 5 in the world. Barty is a three-time Grand Slam singles champion, claiming titles at the 2019 French Open, the 2021 Wimbledon Championships, and the 2022 Australian Open. She is also a major doubles champion, having won the 2018 US Open with CoCo Vandeweghe. Barty won 15 singles titles and 12 doubles titles on the WTA Tour.
Jeļena "Aļona" Ostapenko is a Latvian professional tennis player. She has career-high WTA rankings of No. 5 in singles, achieved on 19 March 2018, and No. 7 in doubles, reached on 12 September 2022.
Kimberly Birrell is an Australian professional tennis player. Birrell reached a career-high WTA ranking of 100 on 18 September 2023. She has won five singles titles and one doubles title on the ITF Circuit.
Naomi Osaka is a Japanese professional tennis player. She has been ranked world No. 1 in singles by the Women's Tennis Association (WTA) and is the first Asian player to hold the top ranking in singles. Osaka is a four-time Grand Slam singles champion, with two Australian Open and two US Open titles. Her seven titles on the WTA Tour also include two at the Premier Mandatory level. At the 2018 US Open and the 2019 Australian Open, Osaka won her first two major titles in back-to-back tournaments. She was the first woman to win successive major singles titles since Serena Williams in 2015, and the first to win her first two in successive majors since Jennifer Capriati in 2001.

Bianca Vanessa Andreescu is a Canadian professional tennis player. She has a career-high ranking of No. 4 in the world, and is the highest-ranked Canadian in the history of the Women's Tennis Association (WTA). Andreescu was the champion at the US Open and the Canadian Open in 2019, defeating Serena Williams to win both titles. She is the first Canadian tennis player to win a major singles title, and the first to win the Canadian Open in 50 years. She was also the first player to win a major singles title as a teenager since Maria Sharapova in 2006.
Dayana Oleksandrivna Yastremska is a Ukrainian professional tennis player. She has a career-high ranking of world No. 21 by the Women's Tennis Association (WTA). Yastremska has won three WTA Tour titles in five final appearances.
Olga Danilović is a Serbian tennis player. On 26 June 2023, she reached her best singles ranking of world No. 93. On 24 April 2023, she peaked at No. 104 in the WTA doubles rankings. In July 2018, Danilović won her first WTA Tour singles title in Moscow by beating Anastasia Potapova in the final. She also won two WTA doubles titles, first in Tashkent and the second one in Lausanne. On the WTA Challenger Tour, she has won one doubles title. She has also won five singles titles and one doubles title on the ITF Women's Circuit.
The 2017 WTA Elite Trophy was a women's tennis tournament played at the Hengqin International Tennis Center in Zhuhai, China. It was the 3rd edition of the singles event and doubles competition. The tournament was contested by twelve singles players and six doubles teams.
Caroline Dolehide is an American professional tennis player. She achieved a career-high ranking of world No. 41 on 2 October 2023 and a doubles ranking of No. 21 in May 2022. She has won one WTA Tour and one WTA 125 doubles titles as well as 18 titles on the ITF Women's Circuit, eight in singles and ten in doubles. Her best performances on the WTA Tour came in singles when she reached the WTA 1000 final in Guadalajara and in doubles at the 2019 and the 2022 US Open events where she reached the semifinals with Vania King and Storm Sanders, respectively, and also at the 2021 Wimbledon Championships and the 2023 Wimbledon Championships.
