Cheraw is a town on the Pee Dee River in Chesterfield County, South Carolina, United States. The population was 5,851 at the 2010 census and has the lowest per capita income level of any municipality of 5,000 or more residents in the Pee Dee region. It has been nicknamed "The Prettiest Town in Dixie". The harbor tug USS Cheraw was named in the town's honor.
The South Glastonbury Historic District is a historic district in Glastonbury, Connecticut. It encompasses the historic village center of South Glastonbury, which was first settled in the 17th century. The district was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984, and enlarged in 2009 to include properties further along Main Street as far as Chestnut Hill Road. Locals refer to it as Nayaug.
St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church Complex is a historic multi-building church complex at 133 School Street in Waltham, Massachusetts. Established as a parish in 1835, it is the city's oldest Roman Catholic establishment. Its 1858 Romanesque Revival church and 1872 Second Empire rectory are particularly fine architectural examples of their styles. The complex was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989.

Two properties, both buildings, that had been listed in the past but have since been demolished have been delisted; one building that is also no longer extant remains listed.
The West Main Street Historic District of Marlborough, Massachusetts encompasses a residential area west of the city center. It extends along West Main Street from Mechanic Street to Gibbon Street, along Pleasant Street from West Main to Lincoln Street, and also includes short pieces of Witherbee and Winthrop Streets abutting West Main. Most of the buildings in the district are houses built between 1820 and 1930, the period of the city's growth as an industrial center. The 15-acre (6.1 ha) district includes 77 properties, all but two of which contribute to its historic significance. The district was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2001.
Downtown Baptist Church, is a historic church building located at 101 W. McBee Avenue in Greenville, South Carolina. It was constructed in 1858 as the new home of First Baptist Church of Greenville, replacing an earlier structure on the banks of the Reedy River. The congregation of First Baptist Church vacated the site for a new campus on Cleveland Street in the late 1970s at which time a minority of the congregation elected to remain at the downtown site and start a new church under the name Downtown Baptist Church.
College Square Historic District is a nationally recognized historic district located on a bluff north of downtown Davenport, Iowa, United States. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983. The district derives it name from two different colleges that were located here in the 19th century.
Mercer Street Friends Center is located in Trenton, Mercer County, New Jersey, United States. The building was built in 1858 and was added to the National Register of Historic Places on August 12, 1971. It now houses the main offices of Mercer Street Friends, a Trenton-based Quaker-affiliated social service agency founded in 1958.
Great Falls Downtown Historic District is a national historic district located at Great Falls, Chester County, South Carolina. The district encompasses 14 contributing buildings in the central business district of Great Falls. They were built between about 1910 and 1930, and consist of the buildings constructed by the Republic Textile Mills Company to provide a commercial area to meet the needs of the mill workers and their families.
Seaboard Air Line Railway Depot in McBee is a historic train station located at McBee, Chesterfield County, South Carolina. It was built in 1914, and is a one-story, red brick building in a modified rectangular plan. It has a sharply pitched hipped roof. After Seaboard discontinued passenger service in the 1960s, the McBee depot stood unused until the 1980s when the building was restored for use as the McBee Depot Library and Railroad Museum.
Cheraw Historic District is a national historic district located at Cheraw, Chesterfield County, South Carolina. The district encompasses 39 contributing buildings and 1 contributing object in Cheraw. Located within the district are varieties of architectural styles that include the early frame homes of the 1800s, antebellum structures with Classical Revival details and Greek Revival porticos, and Victorian houses from the turn of the 20th century. The district also includes several churches, a cemetery, and the towns’ original boundary markers dating from 1766. Notable buildings include Town Hall, First Presbyterian Church, St. Peter's Catholic Church, Chicola Club / Brady's Restaurant, First Federal Savings, Robert Smalls, Dizzy Gillespie and Loan, B.C. Moore and Sons, Coulter Memorial Academy Building, and Godfrey House. Located in the district is the separately listed St. David's Episcopal Church and Cemetery.
East Main Street Historic District is a national historic district located at Chesterfield, Chesterfield County, South Carolina. The district encompasses 20 contributing buildings and 1 contributing site reflecting the development of the town of Chesterfield from about 1798 to 1937. The district contains some of Chesterfield's finest architectural expression and includes: the John Craig House, a hall-and-parlor farmhouse with excellent Federal style woodwork; the Chesterfield Courthouse with its Second Empire cupola; and several vernacular residences with Queen Anne and bungalow influence. The Chesterfield Post Office is a brick building designed by notable government architect Louis Simon. The original Chesterfield Courthouse, reputedly burned by General William T. Sherman’s troops in 1865, was the site of one of the state's earliest secession meetings. A marker on the grounds of the current Chesterfield Courthouse commemorates that meeting. The Craig Family cemetery, containing graves of members of one of Chesterfield's founding families, also is included in the district.
Dr. Thomas E. Lucas House is a historic home located at Chesterfield, Chesterfield County, South Carolina. It was built about 1868, and is a two-story, three bay, central-hall plan, frame farmhouse, with a one-story rear wing. It features a one-story porch across the front façade. Also on the property is an antebellum smokehouse, a gazebo, and several other outbuildings. The house is associated with Dr. Thomas E. Lucas, a farmer, physician and politician. In 1864 Lucas resigned his position as a lieutenant in Company A in the Fifteenth Battalion, South Carolina Artillery, to serve in the South Carolina House of Representatives.
St. John's Historic District is a national historic district located at Darlington, Darlington County, South Carolina. The district encompasses 55 contributing buildings and 1 contributing site in a mixed residential section of Darlington. The focal point of the district is St. John's School complex and campus, the Academy Green. The properties in the district are located in approximately five block area of oak lined streets. Approximately 75 percent of the buildings were constructed prior to 1925. Most of them were built between 1880 and 1925 during a period of unprecedented agricultural prosperity and reflect the architectural characteristics of that era, including Queen Anne, Neo-Classical, Colonial Revival, and Bungalow. Notable buildings include Central Baptist Church, Darlington County Library, St. John's High School, St. John's Elementary School, Open-Air Theatre, Haynesworth House, L. S. Welling House, and Trinity Methodist Episcopal Church.
West Broad Street Historic District is a national historic district located at Darlington, Darlington County, South Carolina. The district encompasses 36 contributing buildings in a primarily residential section of Darlington. They were constructed between about 1890 and 1928. Most of the residences are grand in scale and reflect the prosperity of the individuals who built them. Several of the houses were owned by some of Darlington's most prominent citizens. Most of the residences are large, two-story frame Victorian or Queen Anne structures with decorative woodwork. The dwellings are set on deep lots that are planted with large trees and shrubs. A number of these large residences are similar in appearance and were built by master carpenter Lawrence Reese. Also included in the district are 13 modest, one-story frame houses with a few decorative features, as well as two imposing brick bungalows.
Columbia Historic District II is a national historic district located at Columbia, South Carolina. The district encompasses 113 contributing buildings and 1 contributing site in a former residential section of Columbia. They were built between the early-19th century and the 1930s and are now mostly used for commercial purposes. The buildings are in the Greek Revival, Gothic Revival, Classical Revival, and the “Columbia Cottage” styles. Notable buildings include the Robert Mills House, Debruhl-Marshall House, Hampton-Preston House, Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd, Crawford-Clarkson House, Maxcy Gregg House, Hale-Elmore-Seibels House, St. Paul's Lutheran Church, and Ebenezer Lutheran Church.
Main Street Grammar School, also known as Union High School, is a historic school building located at Union, Union County, South Carolina. It was built in 1909, and is a two-story, brick Neo-Classical building. It features a brick parapet, central projecting bay and large pedimented portico. In 1965, the Union Campus of the University of South Carolina acquired the building and rehabilitated it to serve as its main campus building.
South Street–South Church Street Historic District is a national historic district located at Union, Union County, South Carolina. The district encompasses 78 contributing buildings in a primarily residential section of Union. The houses were built between about 1850 to about 1930, with the majority dating from about 1850 to about 1915. The district includes many large-frame Queen Anne inspired houses built about 1880–1910. Also in the district are Neo-Classical, Gothic Revival, Colonial Revival, Tudor Revival, American Foursquare, and Bungalow style dwellings. The district includes the first Carnegie Library established in South Carolina.
