Mebane is a city located mostly in Alamance County, North Carolina, United States, and partly in Orange County. The town was named for Alexander Mebane, an American Revolutionary War general and member of the U.S. Congress. It was incorporated as "Mebanesville" in 1881, and in 1883 the name was changed to "Mebane". It was incorporated as a city in 1987. The population as of the 2020 census was 17,768. Mebane is one of the fastest-growing municipalities in North Carolina. Mebane straddles the Research Triangle and Piedmont Triad Regions of North Carolina. The bulk of the city is in Alamance County, which comprises the Burlington Metropolitan Statistical Area, itself a component of the Greensboro-Winston-Salem-High Point Combined Statistical Area. Two slivers in the eastern portion of the city are in Orange County, which is part of the Durham-Chapel Hill Metropolitan Statistical Area, itself a component of the Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill Combined Statistical Area.

The New Carrollton station as well as an Amtrak station are across the Capital Beltway in New Carrollton, Maryland. Doctors Community Hospital is located in Lanham.

Princeton is a small unincorporated rural village in Princeton Township, Dallas County, Arkansas, United States, located at the junction of Arkansas highways 8 and 9, 7.5 miles (12.1 km) southwest of Carthage. Princeton Cemetery, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, is located in the community. It was first listed as a CDP in the 2020 census with a population of 13.
Westervelt Christian Church is a historic church located at 103 W. Main Street in Westervelt, Illinois. Built in 1921, the church was the second in Westervelt. Its early membership came from the Antioch Church in Brunswick, a nearby community from which most of Westervelt's residents migrated after the Chicago and Eastern Illinois Railroad opened a station in the latter community. Architect Charles Harris designed the church in the Classical Revival style. The eastern main entrance to the church features a two-story portico with a triangular pediment. The north and south sides of the church also have triangular pediments, which are supported by brick pilasters. A stone belt course encircles the building below the pediments, and a plain cornice runs below the roof line.

Groveland Station is a census-designated place (CDP) in Livingston County, New York, United States. The CDP consists of the hamlet of Groveland and nearby residential areas. The CDP population was 281 as of the 2010 census. New York State Route 63 passes through the community.
