The 50th Assembly district of Wisconsin is one of 99 districts in the Wisconsin State Assembly. [1] Located in southern Wisconsin, the district comprises all of Green County, and parts of southwest Dane County including the southwestern exurban areas outside of Madison. It includes the cities of Brodhead and Monroe, and the villages of Albany, Belleville, Brooklyn, Browntown, Monticello, New Glarus, and Oregon. The district also contains Cadiz Springs State Recreation Area. [2] The district is represented by Democratic Jenna Jacobson, since January 2025; Jacobson previously represented the 43rd district from 2023 to 2025. [3]
The 50th Assembly district is located within Wisconsin's 17th Senate district, along with the 49th and 51st Assembly districts. [4]

Green County is a county located in the U.S. state of Wisconsin. As of the 2020 census, the population was 37,093. Its county seat is Monroe. Green County is included in the Madison, WI Metropolitan Statistical Area.
Wisconsin's 17th Senate district is one of 33 districts in the Wisconsin Senate. Located in southwest Wisconsin, the district comprises all of Crawford, Grant, Green, Lafayette, and Iowa counties, as well as parts of southwest Dane County. It includes the cities of Boscobel, Brodhead, Cuba City, Darlington, Dodgeville, Lancaster, Mineral Point, Monroe, Oregon, Platteville, Prairie du Chien, and Shullsburg.

The seat is represented by Democrat Andrew Hysell since January 2025.

Located in south-central Wisconsin, the district comprises the northwest corner of Dane County, including northwestern suburban and exurban Madison. The 81st district also contains two wards on the far north side of the city of Madison which include the Cherokee Park, Sherman Village, North Lake Mendota, Lerdahl Park and Whitetail Ridge neighborhoods. The district also contains Governor Nelson State Park, Mendota Mental Health Institute and Middleton Municipal Airport. The district has been represented by Democrat Alex Joers since January 2025; Joers previously represented the 79th district from 2023 to 2025.

Located in western Wisconsin, the district comprises parts of southwest Chippewa County and central Dunn County. It includes the cities of Chippewa Falls and Menomonie and the parts of Eau Claire which fall in Chippewa County, along with the villages of Elk Mound and Lake Hallie. The district is represented by Republican Clint Moses, since January 2025; Moses previously represented the 29th district from 2021 to 2025.
