The ward encompasses the southern portion of Lincoln. [6] It lies close to the boundary with the town of North Hykeham and villages of Bracebridge Heath, Canwick and Waddington. [7] It covers the suburbs of Bracebridge Low Fields and Swallowbeck. They are separated by the River Witham that runs between them to Lincoln City Centre.
