Yashwanth (spelled onscreen as Yeshwanth) is a 2005 Indian Kannada-language romantic drama directed by Dayal and starring Murali and Rakshitha and is also a name commonly used in India..
This film was the third film of both director Dayal, of Baa Baaro Rasika (2004) fame, and Murali. [2] The film's story is based on a real life incident in the director's life when he had to give up his wife's jewelry when he was under financial pressure. [2] The film was produced by K. Manju, whose previous film Sahukara (2004) was a hit. Reena Yadav and Namitha were each considered to play one of the film's heroines before Rakshita was cast. [2] [3] Murali Manohara, who worked under choreographer Five Star Ganesh, debuted as a dance director with this film. [4] Vanitha Vasu plays Rakshitha's mother in the film, who later becomes estranged. [5]

The film was reviewed by Deccan Herald . [9] A critic from Viggy wrote that "On the whole, Yashwanth is not as gripping as one would've expected it to be. Its an absolute letdown but enthralls the frontbenchers!" [10]
Apthamitra is a 2004 Indian Kannada-language Psychological horror action film directed by P. Vasu and produced by Dwarakish. It stars Vishnuvardhan, Soundarya and Ramesh Arvind in the lead roles, while Prema, Dwarakish and Avinash appear in supporting roles. The film is a remake of Malayalam film Manichithrathazhu with some plot changes. The film was released on 27 August 2004 on Varalakshmi festival to positive reviews. Raghavendra Rajkumar is an Indian actor, singer and producer of Kannada cinema. He is the son of actor Dr. Rajkumar and film producer Parvathamma Rajkumar.
