Yoasobi concert chronology

The Yoasobi Live in the USA was the fourth concert tour by Japanese duo Yoasobi. Consisting of four shows, it began at Los Angeles on April 18, 2024, and concluded at Boston on August 8. Like the previous Pop Out Zepp Tour, the concerts featured 3D display by wearing 3D glasses. [1]

Background and ticketing

Yoasobi first performed in the United States at Head in the Clouds Festival in August 2023 at Pasadena, California, [2] and participated the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival in April 2024. [3] In early 2024, Yoasobi announced that they would perform at two major music festivals in the United States–Coachella in April and Lollapalooza in August. [4] [5] On February 21, 2024, Crunchyroll announced that they would powered the two concert shows in the United States for Yoasobi on April 18 at Shrine Auditorium and Expo Hall, Los Angeles, and April 21 at Warfield Theatre, San Francisco. [6] [7] It was reported that the tickets were sold out in 30 minutes. [8]

On April 22, following the San Francisco show concluded, Yoasobi announced two additional shows in East Coast of the United States in August, the same month as Lollapalooza performance—Radio City Music Hall at New York City on August 6 and MGM Music Hall at Fenway at Boston on August 8—. [9] Pre-sale began on April 25 and general ticket sales began the next day. [10]

Naon no Yaon is an annual all-female music festival held at Hibiya Open-Air Concert Hall in Tokyo, Japan's Hibiya Park. Created and "produced" by heavy metal band Show-Ya, performing artists and staff members are restricted to females, but attendance is open to everyone.

It consists of the duo's 2021 three concerts: Keep Out Theater, Sing Your World, and Nice to Meet You ; and the enlarged version of their episode of documentary program Jōnetsu Tairiku, broadcast in December 2021. The Film debuted atop both the Oricon Blu-ray Disc Chart, and the Music DVD and Blu-ray Chart, selling 21,000 copies in its first week.

Continuing with the "reading CD" concept as previous records, the EP spans electropop and synth-pop genres, comprising ten tracks, which were solely written and produced by one half of the duo Ayase.

The Film 2 is the second video album by Japanese duo Yoasobi. It was released on Blu-ray exclusively on April 10, 2024, through Sony Music Entertainment Japan. Similar to the previous video album The Film (2022), the video album contains the selected 2023–2024 live performances from three concert tours—the Denkōsekka Arena Tour in Saitama, the Asia Tour 2023–2024 in Seoul, and the Pop Out Zepp Tour in Tokyo—as well as their documentary about the tours. Commercially, The Film 2 topped the Oricon Blu-ray Disc Chart with 16,751 copies.

<i>E-Side 3</i> 2024 EP by Yoasobi

E-Side 3 is the third English-language EP by Japanese duo Yoasobi. It was released on April 12, 2024, through Sony Music Entertainment Japan. The EP consists of eight tracks from the duo's songs in the English language, including four preceding singles: "Idol", "The Brave", "Biri-Biri", and "Adventure".
