Yuraq Yuraq (Quechua yuraq white, [1] the reduplication indicates there is a complex or a group of something, "white complex", or yuraq yuraq common name of Gochnatia boliviana , [2] also spelled Yuraj Yuraj) is a mountain in the Khari Khari mountain range of the Bolivian Andes, about 4,920 m (16,142  ft) high. [3] It is situated southeast of Potosí in the Potosí Department. Yuraq Yuraq lies southeast of Illimani and northeast of Q'illu Urqu. [4]

<i>Gochnatia</i> genus of plants

Gochnatia is a genus of flowering plants in the daisy family, Asteraceae. It is named for botanist Frédéric Karl Gochnat. The genus contains mainly shrubs and subshrubs, with a few trees and herbs. All of the species are native to the American tropics. Two species native to the mountains of Southeast Asia and formerly included here are now separated as the genus Leucomeris in subfamily Wunderlichioideae.

Its highest mountain is Khunurana (Anaruyu) rising up to 5,071 m (16,637 ft). The features of the range are considered the product of volcanic activity known as the Khari Khari caldera. The caldera is about 40 km long and 25 km at its widest point.
