It was first published as Amaryllis advenaKer Gawl. by John Bellenden Ker in 1808. It was placed into the genus ZephyranthesHerb. as Zephyranthes advena(Ker Gawl.) Nic.García by Nicolás García Berguecio in 2019. [1]
