Candice Farmer (born c. 1970) [1] is an underwater fashion and beauty photographer, [2] based in Uckfield, England. [3] She is known professionally by the mononym, Candice.
Farmer gained a National Diploma and Higher National Diploma in photography at Plymouth College of Art and Design.[ when? ] The course included a module on underwater photography which she has since specialised in. She also studied business studies.[ where? ]

She was the recipient of a Shell LiveWIRE award, an enterprise scheme to help support young entrepreneurs into business.[ when? ]
Farmer has worked commercially for British Airways [4] [5] and provided fashion stills for a PBS documentary on "How Art Made the World". [6] She also worked for the department store Harrods, the skin cream brand Nivea, the supermarket chain Sainsbury's, the British retailer W H Smith, the British retailer FHM , and the fashion magazines Cosmopolitan , GQ , Harper’s & Queen , Vogue , Elle and Marie Claire.[ citation needed ]
In 2004 Farmer founded the clean drinking water initiative Fresh2o, [1] intended to raise awareness and funding for fresh water projects. As part of her campaign she has created a series of celebrity photographs to highlight the cause, [7] including as models Keira Knightley, [8] Kelly Brook, [9] Sir Nick Faldo, Nicko McBrain and Tamzin Outhwaite. Supporters also include Janet Jackson, Jay Kay, Will Smith, Ellen Whitaker, Bear Grylls, and Zac Efron. [2]

David Doubilęt is an underwater photographer known primarily for his work published in National Geographic magazine, where he is a contributing photographer and has been an author for 70 feature articles since 1971. Donald McPherson is an American fashion photographer who was born in Miami, Florida. Moving to Europe in 1992 to pursue his career, McPherson met the fashion editor Isabella Blow who became a close friend and an invaluable source of inspiration. Sharing an apartment in Paris, they developed a close working relationship. McPherson photographed the first fashion story for Tatler with Blow, working as fashion director, showcasing the retrospect of Manolo Blahnik. McPherson refers to Blow as the one who "brings ideas out of me and helps me take them to the next level".
