<i>Woman in the Dunes</i> 1964 Japanese film by Hiroshi Teshigahara

Woman in the Dunes or Woman of the Dunes is a 1964 Japanese New Wave avant-garde psychological thriller and drama film directed by Hiroshi Teshigahara, starring Eiji Okada as an entomologist searching for insects and Kyōko Kishida as the titular woman. It received widespread critical acclaim and was nominated for two Academy Awards. The screenplay for the film was adapted by Kōbō Abe from his 1962 novel. The movie is now considered to be Teshigahara's masterpiece, one of the best movies of 1964, of the 1960s and of the 20th century, as well as one of the best and greatest Japanese movies of all time.

Migori County is a county in the former Nyanza Province of southwestern Kenya. It borders Homa Bay County to the north, Kisii County to the northeast, Narok County to the southeast, Tanzania to the west and south, and Lake Victoria to the west. The county also borders Uganda via Migingo Island in Lake Victoria. The county is headquartered by Migori, which is also its largest town. At the 2019 census, Migori County had a population of 1,116,436, almost 200,000 more than the 917,170 recorded in 2009.

He had received several awards, notably Best Actor for his films Laxmi Pratima in 1998 and Pheria Mo Suna Bhauni in 2005 Best Supporting Actor award for his films Rakhi Bandhili Mo Rakhiba Mana in 2002 and Prema Adhei Akhyara and Best Comedian award for Mu Tate Love Karuchhi in 2007 from the Odisha state government.

<i>Their Distance</i> 2016 Japanese independent film

Their Distance, is a 2015 Japanese independent film written, edited, and directed by Rikiya Imaizumi, featuring the South Korean boy band NU'EST in their Japanese film debut. Their Distance stars Ren, Fumiko Aoyagi, Minhyun, Hanae Kan, JR, Haruka Kinami, and Tateto Serizawa. The plot is centered around different ideas of love, from generational to cultural, told in a nonlinear narrative switching from various days in April to illustrate the perspectives of all the characters. Part of the film is in spoken Korean, with the film using actors who were fluent in Korean.
