Lima Stadium, built in the 1930s, is a historic stadium in Lima, Ohio. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2002. Its significance is listed as its architecture. Its historic and current use is a sports facility. It is the only high school stadium in Ohio to be recognized as a historic landmark. [2] Currently it is the stadium of the Lima Senior Spartans, the Lima Central Catholic Thunderbirds, and the Lima Warriors.

The Ohio State University at Lima is a regional campus of Ohio State University located in Lima, Ohio. It offers over 140 courses and 9 bachelor degree programs in science and liberal arts. Nine of eleven programs are four-year programs at Lima. Two of them are baccalaureate completion programs. In addition to regional accreditation, Ohio State Lima has baccalaureate program accreditation with NCATE. The campus practices open admissions. Students can start at Lima and finish their degrees at The Ohio State University, Columbus with one of Ohio State's 170+ majors. The Ohio State University at Lima offers over 20 student clubs and organizations. There are also 12 intramural and club athletic teams. Kewpee

Kewpee Hamburgers is the second known chain of hamburger fast-food restaurants, founded in 1923 in Flint, Michigan under the name "Kewpee Hotel Hamburgs". Kewpee's current headquarters is located in Lima, Ohio. The chain is named after the Kewpie doll. Kewpee was one of the first to institute curbside service, which later morphed into a drive-in service, and then finally was transformed into drive-thru service. The Lima Kewpee locations have locally raised beef delivered daily to each Kewpee restaurant. The Kewpee Restaurant in Lima, Ohio is considered a historic site.

Lima Senior High School, the only high school in the Lima City Schools District, was established in 1955, in Lima, Ohio. There are approximately 4,500 students currently enrolled at Lima Senior.

The Adgate Block was a historic building in Lima, Ohio, United States. Built in 1880, it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982 as part of the Lima Multiple Resource Area. The brick building was constructed in a combination of the Victorian and Romanesque Revival styles. During its history, the building was occupied by a series of businesses, including a pharmacy, a specialty store, and a pizzeria.

The First National Bank and Trust Building is a historic building on Public Square in downtown Lima, Ohio, United States. The rectangular building, completed in 1926, was designed by Weary & Alford Company, an architectural firm from Chicago. It was the location of the offices of the First National Bank and Trust Company from 1926 until 1974, when the company became a part of Huntington Bank. The structure's twelve stories are faced with Indiana Limestone. Each column of windows is topped with an arch window on the highest floor, and the spandrels between the arch windows are connected to each other.

Among its most distinguishing features was elaborate stonework, which was deemed equal to that of the adjacent Linneman Building and superior to that of all other Lima buildings. Like the Linneman Building and several other buildings on South Main, the Dorsey Building was constructed during a period of great prosperity in Lima: the railroad industry was expanding, and the discovery of petroleum in the vicinity had led to an economic boom in the city's economy.
