11 Hoyt is a residential skyscraper in the Downtown Brooklyn neighborhood of Brooklyn in New York City. It was designed by architect Studio Gang with executive architect Hill West and developed by real estate conglomerate Tishman Speyer.
In August 2015, Tishman Speyer purchased the site, which was next to the A. I. Namm & Son Department Store. [2] Three lenders—JPMorgan Chase, Starwood Property Trust, and iStar—provided $380 million [3] in financing for the deal. [4] The building's facade was constructed in Canada. [5] The building topped out in June 2019, [5] and was completed in 2021. [6] The building is Tishman Speyer's first residential building in New York City. [7]
Sales for condominiums in the building launched in September 2018. [8]
The building is part of the larger Tishman-led project to redevelop the former Macy's branch in Brooklyn.
The building's exterior somewhat resembles that of 8 Spruce Street, designed by architect Frank Gehry. [4] Jeanne Gang has said the building's facade was inspired by townhouses in Brooklyn, many of which include bay windows. [7] The interiors were designed by Michaelis Boyd, and the units have two possible color palettes. [9]
The building is residential, with 480 condominium residences. It also includes 40,000 square feet (3,700 m2) of retail space. [7] The day care Petits Poussins signed a lease for space in the building in June 2021. [10]

The building was originally under construction as an all condominium tower before the 2000s real estate crash and subsequent Great Recession. 161 Maiden Lane is an incomplete 670 ft (205 m) tall residential skyscraper on Maiden Lane in the Financial District of Manhattan, New York City, United States. Designed by Hill West Architects, the building overlooks the East River and topped out in September 2018. The building leans 3 inches (76 mm) to the north as a result of the method used to construct its foundation: instead of using the piling method like other neighboring skyscrapers, soil improvement methods were used where chemicals or other material are added to the soil to strengthen it. As of 2024, only half of the finishes, including windows, have been installed.
Skyline Tower, previously known as Court Square City View Tower, is a residential skyscraper in the Long Island City neighborhood of Queens in New York City. The building topped out in October 2019, surpassing One Court Square to become the tallest building in Queens at 762 feet (232 m). For two years, it was also the tallest building on Long Island; in October 2021, the building was surpassed in height when the Brooklyn Tower topped out. It was completed in July 2021.
