The 12 Hours of Hungary was both a spots car and touring car automobile endurance race held at the Hungaroring. In 2008, Dutch organizer Creventic, who also organizes the Dubai 24 Hour, added this event to their schedule of races. [1]

History

The race was run a total of seven times, 6 between 2008 and 2014 when the 24H Series did not award points or championships. The other occasion was when the event was revived in 2021 replacing the round at Autodromo di Pergusa. [2] [3]

The Coppa Florio was a motorsport race for automobiles first held in Italy in 1900. It was renamed in 1905 when Vincenzo Florio offered the initial 50,000 Lira prize money and a cup designed by Polak of Paris. The 2021 Hankook 12 Hours of Hungary was an endurance sports car race which took place on 2 and 3 October 2021. This was the 7th edition of the 12 Hours of Hungary. It was the sixth round of the 2021 24H GT and TCE Series. The event replaced the 2021 edition of the Coppa Florio on the 24H Series calendar.
