The 12th Smule Mirchi Music Awards or simply Mirchi Music Awards 2020, was the 12th edition of the Mirchi Music Awards and took place on 19 February 2020. The award ceremony was hosted by Aparshakti Khurana, Neeti Mohan, and Shekhar Ravjiani at Yash Raj Studios, Mumbai. [1] The title sponsor was Smule, replacing Pepsi.

Arijit Singh is an Indian singer and music composer. He sings predominantly in Hindi and Bengali, but has also performed in various other Indian languages. He is the recipient of a National Award and a record six Filmfare Awards. Manoj Muntashir Indian lyricist (born 1976)

Manoj Muntashir, is an Indian lyricist, poet and screenwriter. Following script writing for Kaun Banega Crorepati, the Indian version of British Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?, he wrote several successful Hindi songs for films. These have included "Galliyan", "Tere Sang Yaara", "Kaun Tujhe", "Dil Meri Na Sune", "Phir Bhi Tumko Chaahunga" and "Teri Mitti".

Gully Boy is a 2019 Indian Hindi-language musical drama film directed by Zoya Akhtar, and written by Akhtar and Reema Kagti. The film was produced by Ritesh Sidhwani, Akhtar and Farhan Akhtar under the banners of Tiger Baby Films and Excel Entertainment productions, with Nas as an executive producer. It stars Ranveer Singh in the titular role and features Alia Bhatt, Kalki Koechlin, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Vijay Varma, Amruta Subhash and Vijay Raaz in supporting roles. Inspired by the lives of Indian street rappers Divine and Naezy, the film is a coming-of-age story about an aspiring street rapper from the Dharavi slums of Mumbai.

The 11th Mirchi Music Awards, presented by Indian FM radio station Radio Mirchi, honoured the best music professionals of Hindi language Indian films of 2018. "Ghar More Pardesiya" is a song from the 2019 Bollywood film Kalank. The song is sung by Shreya Ghoshal and composed by Pritam Chakraborty. The lyrics were penned by Amitabh Bhattacharya. The accompanying video features Madhuri Dixit, Alia Bhatt, and Varun Dhawan. A radio edit was also released, with Vaishali Mhade providing supporting vocals. B Praak Indian singer and music producer

Pratik Bachan, best known by his stage name B Praak, is an Indian singer and music director associated with the Punjabi and Hindi music industry. He started his career as a music producer, and later debuted as a singer with the song Mann Bharrya. He is a frequent collaborator of lyricist Jaani, and has since entered into Hindi cinema in 2019 with two songs as singer in the films Kesari and Good Newwz starring Akshay Kumar, and as a guest composer in the satire Bala.

"Teri Mitti" is a patriotic Hindi song, written by Manoj Muntashir, composed by Arko Pravo Mukherjee, and sung by singer B Praak. It was released in March 2019 and featured on the soundtrack of the 2019 Hindi film Kesari, starring Akshay Kumar and Parineeti Chopra, who later sang the female version. The aim of the song was to reflect a dying soldier's last thoughts in the film's final scene.

Gully Boy is the soundtrack album for the 2019 film of the same name directed by Zoya Akhtar. The 18-song soundtrack includes work by Divine, Naezy, Sez on the beat, Rishi Rich, Dub Sharma, Jasleen Royal, Ace, Ishq Bector, MC Altaf, MC TodFod, 100 RBH, Maharya, Noxious D, Viveick Rajagopalan, and others.
