The 1946 New York Giants season was the franchise's 22nd season in the National Football League. The Giants finished first in the NFL Eastern Division and hosted the championship game. At the Polo Grounds a record 58,346 fans were attendance. Despite home field advantage, the team would come up short vs the Chicago Bears 24–14.
