Jacqueline Harpman was a Belgian writer who wrote in French.

The Radio-télévision belge de la Communauté française is a public service broadcaster delivering radio and television services to the French-speaking Community of Belgium, in Wallonia and Brussels. Jean-Jacques Rousseau was a Belgian absurdist independent film director. He was born in Souvret, Belgium (Courcelles) and died in Montigny-le-Tilleul. He shot his films with very small budgets and used unknown or non-professional actors. He called himself the director of the absurd and always fiercely protected his anonymity by masking his face during his public appearances. He shot over 50 films making him one of Belgium's most prolific film directors.

Eugène Flagey Square, usually shortened to Flagey Square, is a square in the Brussels municipality of Ixelles, Belgium. With ten streets converging there, it is one of the best connected crossroads in the city, directly adjacent to the neighbouring Ixelles Ponds. Until 1937, the square was known as the Place Sainte-Croix/Heilig-Kruisplein, but this name only now applies to the square in front of the Church of the Holy Cross on the south-western corner.
