The 2007 World Table Tennis Championships women's doubles was the 48th edition of the women's doubles championship. [1] [2] Zhang Yining and Wang Nan defeated Li Xiaoxia and Guo Yue in the final by four sets to nil, to record their third consecutive title and Wang Nan's fifth consecutive title. [3]

Wang Nan is a female Chinese table tennis player from Liaoning. Wang remained as world #1 on the ITTF ranking system from January, 1999 to November, 2002. These are the results of the women's doubles competition, one of two events for female competitors in table tennis at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens.

The women's singles table tennis event was a part of the table tennis program at the 2008 Summer Olympics and took place at the Peking University Gymnasium. The tournament started on August 18 with the final on August 22.

The championships were once again dominated by Chinese players, with all four semifinalists from that country and two more Chinese players knocked out by their countrywomen.
