The 11th Zee Cine Awards ceremony honouring the winners and nominees of the best of Bollywood cinema films released in 2007. The ceremony was held on 26 April 2008 at ExCeL London, London. [1]

Om Shanti Om led the ceremony with 15 nominations, followed by Guru with 10 nominations, and Chak De! India , Life in a... Metro and Taare Zameen Par with 9 nominations each.

Taare Zameen Par won 6 awards, including Best Director (for Aamir Khan), thus becoming the most-awarded film at the ceremony.

The film marked the debut of Ranbir Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor. Rani Mukherji and Salman Khan also starred in supporting roles. It was the last film appearance of both Zohra Sehgal and Begum Para before their deaths. Co-produced by Sony Pictures Entertainment, it is the first Bollywood film to receive a North American release by a Hollywood studio and is one of the first Bollywood films to be released on Blu-ray Disc.

Taare Zameen Par, also known as Like Stars on Earth in English, is a 2007 Indian Hindi-language drama film produced and directed by Aamir Khan. The film stars Khan himself, along with Darsheel Safary, Tanay Chheda, Sachet Engineer, Vipin Sharma and Tisca Chopra. The film explores the life and imagination of Ishaan (Safary), an 8-year-old boy. Although he excels in art, his poor academic performance leads his parents to send him to a boarding school. Ishaan's new art teacher Nikumbh (Khan) suspects that he is dyslexic and helps him to overcome his reading disorder.

Darsheel Safary is an Indian actor who appears in Hindi films and television. Safary made his film debut with the leading role of a student with learning disorder in Aamir Khan's directorial debut, the critically acclaimed drama Taare Zameen Par (2007), for which he won the Filmfare critic's Award for Best Actor.

Amole Gupte is an Indian screenwriter, actor, and director, known for his work on the 2007 Bollywood film Taare Zameen Par as creative director and screenwriter. He conceived the film along with his wife, Deepa Bhatia. He was the chairperson of the Children's Film Society, India from 2012 to 2015. And presently serves as a member of the advisory board of the Kautik International Student Film Festival.

The 14th Screen Awards also The Nokia 14th Annual Screen Awards ceremony, presented by Indian Express Group, honored the best Indian Hindi-language films of 2007. The ceremony was held on 10 January 2008 at Bandra Kurla Complex Ground, Mumbai. Hosted by Sajid Khan, it was telecasted on 27 January 2008 on StarPlus.
