The 2009 S.League (officially known as the Great-Eastern-Yeo's S.League for sponsorship reasons) was the 14th season since the establishment of the S.League. Singapore Armed Forces FC won their eighth S.League title.

1 2 3 4 The three foreign clubs – Albirex Niigata (S), DPMM FC and Super Reds – as well as the Football Association of Singapore (FAS) under-23 team, Young Lions, were not eligible for qualification to continental competitions.
↑ Geylang United qualified for the 2010 AFC Cup as 2009 Singapore Cup winners.
↑ Following a FIFA decision on 29 September 2009, Brunei DPMM would no longer be permitted to play in the S.League.^[3] They were unable to complete the league after FIFA denied an appeal from the FAS for Brunei DPMM to finish the 2009 season.^[4] Their results were expunged.
