The 2010–11 Dutch Basketball League season was the 51st season of the Dutch Basketball League, the highest professional basketball league in the Netherlands. Zorg en Zekerheid Leiden won the national championship by beating GasTerra Flames 4–3 in the finals. The season was decided in game seven in the Vijf Meihal in Leiden. After three overtimes, Leiden won the championship over the Flames. [1]

Donar, also known as Donar Groningen, is a professional basketball club based in Groningen, Netherlands. The club competes in the BNXT League and its home arena is MartiniPlaza, which has a seating capacity of 4,350 people.
The Dutch Basketball League (DBL), formerly the Eredivisie, was the highest professional basketball league in the Netherlands, run by the Federatie Eredivisie Basketball (FEB). Since 2021, the league has been replaced by the Belgian-Dutch BNXT League.

Born in Omaha, Nebraska, Dourisseau received a Dutch passport in 2015. He is most known for his years with Donar, where he played for 10 seasons and won five DBL championships and seven other trophies. The club retired his number 8.
The Basketball Cup, for sponsorship reasons the TOTO Basketball Cup and formerly the NBB Cup, is an annual cup competition for Dutch basketball teams organised by the Basketball Nederland. Every team in the Netherlands can participate by signing up for the preliminary rounds. Professional basketball teams from the Dutch Basketball League (DBL) enter the tournament in the fourth round. From 1977 until 1990 professional teams were not allowed to participate in the competition.
Cashmere A'keem Wright is a former American professional basketball player. He played college basketball with the Cincinnati Bearcats. Afterwards, he spent three seasons playing professionally in the Netherlands, Greece and Poland.

He also played in top divisions of Germany and Cyprus.
DeJuan Wright is an American professional basketball player for Kutaisi 2010 of the Georgian Superliga. Wright usually plays the shooting guard position.

GasTerra Flames dominated throughout the regular season and lost just three games. Zorg en Zekerheid Leiden player Danny Gibson was league top scorer and won the Most Valuable Player award. GasTerra Flames eventually won its third title in team history, by beating World Class Aviation Academy Giants 4–1 in the playoff finals.
