The 2011 Indonesian Futsal League (known as Specs Liga Futsal Indonesia V for sponsorship reason) is the 5th edition of Indonesian Futsal League (IFL), a nationwide futsal competition organized by the Football Association of Indonesia. This competition was scheduled to be held in 3 cities: [1] Jakarta (Vidi Arena Pancoran & Tennis indoor GBK Stadium), [2] [3] Lampung (Saburai) and Palembang.

2018 Asian Games 18th edition of the Asian Games

The 2018 Asian Games, officially known as the 18th Asian Games and also known as Jakarta–Palembang 2018, was a pan-Asian multi-sport event held from 18 August to 2 September 2018 in the Indonesian cities of Jakarta and Palembang. The Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) originally awarded the games to Hanoi, Vietnam in November 2012, but the hosting rights were given up seventeen months later. Indonesia, which originally finished second in the bid, was considered as the strongest replacement candidate and eventually awarded the rights amid the 2014 games. Surabaya, the city put forward during the bid, was replaced by Jakarta and Palembang, having hosted the 2011 Southeast Asian Games together.

Football clubs representing the five main islands of the Indonesian archipelago contested the 2010–2011 season of the Indonesian Super League at the Djarum Inter Islands Cup football tournament.

Singapore at the 2011 Southeast Asian Games

Singapore participated in the 2011 Southeast Asian Games which was held in the cities of Jakarta and Palembang, Indonesia from 11 November 2011 to 22 November 2011, but with some events commencing from 3 November 2011.

The futsal tournament at the 2011 Southeast Asian Games took place from 17 to 22 November 2011. This edition of the tournament featured both men's and women's tournaments. All matches were held in GOR POPKI, Jakarta.

The knockout phase of the 2010–11 Indonesia Super League U-21 began on 4 May 2011 and will conclude on 8 May 2011 with the final at Soemantri Brodjonegoro Stadium in Jakarta, Indonesia. Gelora Bung Karno Sports Complex sports venue

Bung Karno Sports Arena, formerly named Senayan Sports Arena from 1969 to 2001 and Asian Games Complex on its early days, is a sports complex located in Gelora, Central Jakarta, Indonesia. It is usually mistakenly thought to be located at Senayan, South Jakarta, hence its former name. The sports complex hosts main stadium, secondary stadium, the Sports Palace, football fields, aquatic stadium, tennis stadiums, hockey, baseball and archery fields, and several indoor gymnasiums. The complex was built in 1960 for the 1962 Asian Games and recently underwent a major reconstruction for the 2018 Asian Games and Asian Para Games.

Mata Elang International Stadium or MEIS is an international music stadium located at Ancol Dreamland, Jakarta, Indonesia. The stadium opened in early 2012. It is located inside Ancol Beach City, a lifestyle and entertainment center. It is one of the biggest indoor stadiums in Southeast Asia.

The 2018–19 Piala Indonesia was the seventh edition of Piala Indonesia. 128 teams were accepted into the tournament, and it began with the first round on 8 May 2018, and concluded with the finals on 21 July and 6 August 2019. The winner would qualify for the play-off round of the 2020 AFC Cup.

Field hockey at the 2018 Asian Games

Field hockey at the 2018 Asian Games in Jakarta and Palembang was held at the GBK Hockey Field, Jakarta, Indonesia from 19 August to 1 September 2018. A total of twelve men's and ten women's teams competed in each respective tournament.

Jakarta International Velodrome is a sporting facility located at Rawamangun, East Jakarta, Indonesia. The arena was used as a venue for 2018 Asian Games and 2018 Asian Para Games. The Velodrome covers an area of about 9.5 hectares. The sports arena has a 250 m cycling track, designed by Schuermann Architects, tennis court and swimming pools. The velodrome has a seating capacity of 3,500 for track cycling, and up to 8,500 for shows and concerts. Although made for bicycle races, the complex will also be used for various sports activities such as volleyball, badminton, and futsal. The velodrome is certified as “Class 1” by the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI).

Iran at the 2018 Asian Games

Iran is currently competing in the 2018 Asian Games in Jakarta and Palembang, Indonesia from 18 August to 2 September 2018. Iran has competed at the Asian Games since the first event in 1951 Delhi, and the best achievement was in 1974, when the country hosted the event in Tehran, by ranked second with the acquisition of 36 gold, 28 silver and 17 bronze medals. At the latest edition in Incheon, the country wrapped up its campaign with 57 medals in all - 21 gold, 18 silver and 18 bronze.

The men's tournament of rugby sevens at the 2018 Asian Games at Jakarta, Indonesia, was started on 30 August and ended on 1 September 2018. Games were held at the GBK Rugby Field.

The 2020 AFC Futsal Championship will be the 16th edition of the AFC Futsal Championship, the biennial international futsal championship organised by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) for the men's national teams of Asia. A total of 16 teams take part in the tournament to be played in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan between 26 February and 8 March 2020.
