The 2014 Formula D season, officially titled the Formula Drift Pro Championship, was the eleventh season of the Formula D series. The season began on April 4 at Long Beach and ended on October 11 at Irwindale Speedway. [1]
2009 champion Chris Forsberg was able to clinch his second Formula D title, finishing 11.5 points clear of his nearest rival, Fredric Aasbø. Forsberg, the event winner at Long Beach, went into the final round with a 26-point advantage but Aasbø – a winner at Wall Township Speedway and Texas Motor Speedway – closed slightly in the standings. Third place in the championship was another two-time event winner, Vaughn Gittin, who was the winner at Road Atlanta and Homestead-Miami Speedway. Other victories were taken by Darren McNamara at Evergreen Speedway while Daigo Saito was victorious at Irwindale Speedway. Scion were the winners of the Manufacturers' Cup, finishing 122 points clear of Nissan, while in the Tire Cup, Hankook finished clear of Nitto by a tally of 283.5 points.

Homestead–Miami Speedway is a motor racing track located in Homestead, Florida. The track, which has several configurations, has promoted several series of racing, including NASCAR, the IndyCar Series, the WeatherTech SportsCar Championship series, and the Championship Cup Series.
Formula Drift is a United States-based motorsport drifting series. Formula Drift, Inc. was co-founded by Jim Liaw and Ryan Sage in 2003 as a sister company to Slipstream Global Marketing, the same partnership that introduced D1 Grand Prix to the United States. The new entity would solely own, operate and launch the first official drifting series in North America. Formula D is not affiliated with the FIA series of formula racing championships.
Christopher Forsberg, is a self-taught, three time Formula Drift Champion and Formula Drift World Champion race car driver from Doylestown, Pennsylvania who currently competes in the Formula Drift series in his Nissan Z (Z34) for NOS Energy Drink. He is the owner, lead driver and shop manager of Forsberg Racing.
Vaughn Gittin Jr., commonly known as JR, is an American, self-taught, professional drifter from Maryland who competes in Formula Drift in a Ford Mustang RTR Spec 5-D sponsored by Monster Energy, Nitto Tire, and Ford Performance. One of drifting's most iconic figures, Gittin won the Formula Drift Championship in 2010 and 2020, and competes alongside teammate Chelsea DeNofa. Additionally, Gittin competes in the Ultra4 Racing series in his 4400 Class Ford Bronco and is the creator of RTR Vehicles, which is his vision for the Mustang, F-150, Ranger and other one of a kind Fords.

Justin Thomas Pawlak, also known as JTP, is an American professional drifter who currently competes in the Formula D series. He earned his Formula D Professional license in 2006 and later earned his D1 license. In 2010, he was picked up Team Falken Tire and has been with them ever since. For the 2012 FD Season, he drives the 2013 Falken Tire Ford Mustang RTR. Justin continues his support of local, grassroots drifting by judging the Just Drift Top Drift series alongside fellow Formula D drivers Taka Aono and Hiro Sumida.
Ryan Tuerck is an American professional drifter from Derry, New Hampshire who currently competes in the U.S. Formula Drift series in his Toyota Corolla Hatchback for Rain-X and Nitto Tire.
Robbie Nishida is a professional drifter who currently competes in several different professional series' around the world, including Formula D USA series and Formula D World series. He has been competing in the Formula D USA series since 2005. He has been competing ever since both in Japan and the USA.
The 2013 Formula D season was the tenth season of the Formula D series. The season began on April 12 at Long Beach and ended on October 12 at Irwindale Speedway. Michael Essa was crowned series champion, Lexus won the inaugural manufacturer’s championship and Hankook Tire won the tire championship.
The 2014 Florida Winter Series season was the inaugural and only season for the Florida Winter Series, a non-championship racing series organised by the Ferrari Driver Academy in Florida. The season started with a collective test on 22 January 2014 at Homestead-Miami Speedway, before a total of 12 races were held over 4 race meetings at Sebring International Raceway, Palm Beach International Raceway and Homestead-Miami Speedway.

Fredric Aasbø is a professional drifter and stunt driver originally from Ski, Norway. He now competes in the Formula Drift Championship. In 2015, and recently in 2021, he became the Formula Drift World Champion. He also holds claim to the most wins of any driver in series history. He finished runner-up in the 2016, 2017 and 2018 championship chases.
The 2016 Formula D season is the thirteenth season of the Formula D Pro Championship series and third season of the Pro2 series. The Pro Championship series began on April 8 at Long Beach and ended on October 8 at Irwindale Speedway with Chris Forsberg winning his third Pro Championship. The Pro2 series began on May 5 at Road Atlanta and ended on October 1 at Wild Horse Motorsports Park with Marc Landreville winning the series.
The 2018 Formula D season was the fifteenth season of the Formula D series. The series began on April 7 at Long Beach and concluded on October 13 at Toyota Speedway at Irwindale after eight events. The series celebrated its 100th championship round at Wall Speedway.
The 2021 Formula D season was the eighteenth season of the Formula D series. The series began on May 8 at Road Atlanta and concluded on October 23 at Toyota Speedway at Irwindale after eight events.
The 2020 Formula D season was the seventeenth season of the Formula D series. The series began on September 5 at World Wide Technology Raceway and concluded on November 22 at Toyota Speedway at Irwindale after eight events.
The 2019 Formula D season was the sixteenth season of the Formula D series. The series began on April 6 at Long Beach and concluded on October 19 at Toyota Speedway at Irwindale after eight events.
The 2022 Formula D season was the nineteenth season of the Formula D series. The series began on April 2 at Long Beach and concluded on October 15 at Irwindale Speedway after eight events. Fredric Aasbø won the championship, becoming the third three-time champion in Formula Drift history. Matt Field finished runner-up to Aasbø for the second consecutive year, with a highly consistent campaign that saw him reach the Final Four in each of the first six rounds. The eight-round season saw an unprecedented seven different winners, including three first-time winners in Dylan Hughes, Travis Reeder and Kazuya Taguchi. The only driver to score multiple victories during the season was Aasbø.
