The 2016 Dunlop Endurance Championship is a motor racing championship for GT cars, touring cars, sportscars and Production cars held across England. Cars compete in five classes with a car's class decided on horsepower, momentum, equipment, etc. It is the 14th season of a Britcar championship, the 5th run as the Britcar Endurance Championship and the 1st run as the Dunlop Britcar Endurance Championship. [1] The championship began on 26 March at Silverstone and ended on 13 November at Brands Hatch.
The 2016 calendar was announced on 5 January 2016. [2] Each race would consist of one mandatory pit stop and a driver change.

The Silverstone 24 Hour was a sports car race in endurance racing, held annually at Silverstone Circuit in the United Kingdom until 2018.
Strakka Racing is a British auto racing team founded by Nick Leventis. The team is based at the Silverstone Circuit in Northamptonshire. They currently operate a Mercedes-AMG GT3 in the Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup. The team made history at the 2010 1000 km of Hungaroring when they became the first team in Le Mans Series history to win overall in an LMP2 class car. They also became the first team in LMS history to take overall pole position in an LMP2 class car.

The Ginetta G55 is a specialist sports car, which has been built by Ginetta Cars since 2011. It is built to the FIA GT3 regulations, and the cars are raced in a one-make series; the Ginetta GT Supercup. In addition to this, they are also used in the GT3 class of competitions such as the British GT Championship. It was an evolutionary update of the Ginetta G50, which is a GT4-class car.

Sarah Moore is a British racing driver. She won the Ginetta Junior Championship in 2009 and competed in the InterSteps Championship in 2011. The 2016 FIA World Endurance Championship season was the fifth edition of the FIA World Endurance Championship auto racing series co-organised by the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA) and the Automobile Club de l'Ouest (ACO). The series was open to Le Mans Prototypes and grand tourer-style racing cars meeting four ACO categories. The season began at the Silverstone Circuit in April and ended at the Bahrain International Circuit in November, and included the 84th running of the 24 Hours of Le Mans. A TCR Touring Car is a touring car specification, first introduced in 2014 and is now employed by a multitude of series worldwide. All TCR Touring Cars are front-wheel drive cars based on 4 or 5 door production vehicles, and are powered by 1.75 to 2.0 litre turbocharged engines. While the bodyshell and suspension layout of the production vehicle is retained in a TCR car, and many models use a production gearbox, certain accommodations are made for the stresses of the racetrack including upgraded brakes and aerodynamics. Competition vehicles are subject to Balance of Performance adjustments to ensure close racing between different vehicles.

Cars compete in five classes with a car's class decided on horsepower, momentum, equipment, etc. It was the 17th season of a Britcar championship, the 8th run as the Britcar Endurance Championship and the 4th run as the Dunlop Britcar Endurance Championship. The championship changed back to 60-minute races for 2019.: The season began on 30 March at Silverstone and ended on 10 November at Brands Hatch.

The 2017 Dunlop Endurance Championship is a motor racing championship for GT cars, touring cars and sportscars held across England. The championship's field consists of varying types of cars from production cars to sportscars & GTs that compete in five classes, in two categories, depending on horsepower, momentum, etc. This is the 15th season of a Britcar championship. For 2018, race one includes all cars of every class, while there are two separate race lengths and finishes, although the E class and S class cars compete in the same race, Sprint cars run for 50 minutes, Endurance for 120. one for the Sprint class and one for the Endurance. The season began on the 14th of April at Rockingham and ended on the 18th of November at Brands Hatch.
The 2020 Britcar Endurance Championship was a motor racing championship for GT cars, touring cars and sportscars held across England. The championship's field consists of varying types of cars from sportscar to GT and touring cars that compete in four classes, depending on horsepower, momentum, etc. It was the 19th season of a Britcar championship, the 9th run as the Britcar Endurance Championship, and the 5th run as the Dunlop Britcar Endurance Championship. It was the first Dunlop Endurance Championship run without Class 5 and below, after the formation of the Britcar Trophy Championship. The season began on 11 July at Croft Circuit and ended on 1 November at Snetterton Circuit. There was also a non-championship round at the Spa-Francorchamps in support of the 2019-20 FIA World Endurance Championship, where Endurance category competitors will participate in two races with the Trophy Category cars.
The 2020 Dunlop Trophy Championship was a motor racing championship for production cars held across England. The Trophy championship was created specifically for production vehicles as a Britcar championship separate from the much faster GT and Touring Cars of the Endurance Championship. It is the 19th season of a Britcar championship and the 1st Britcar Trophy Championship season.
The 2021 Britcar Endurance Championship is a motor racing championship for GT cars, touring cars and sportscars held across England. The championship's field consists of varying types of cars from sportscar to GT and touring cars that compete in four classes, depending on horsepower, momentum, etc. It is the 20th season of a Britcar championship, the 10th run as the Britcar Endurance Championship, and the 1st run as the Goodyear Britcar Endurance Championship. The season began on 24 April at Silverstone Circuit and will end on 14 November at Brands Hatch. This will be the first season with the new Praga category, open to all Praga racing cars, which will pave the way for a new one-make Praga series in 2022.
The 2022 MSUK British Endurance Championship is the 11th endurance championship organised by Britcar, the third as the British Endurance Championship. The season began at Silverstone on 12 March and will end at Donington Park on 23 October.
