Lloydminster is a city in Canada which has the unusual geographic distinction of straddling the provincial border between Alberta and Saskatchewan. The city is incorporated by both provinces as a single city with a single municipal administration.
Martensville is a city located in Saskatchewan, Canada, just 8 kilometres (5.0 mi) north of Saskatoon, 10 kilometres (6.2 mi) west of the city of Warman and 14 kilometres (8.7 mi) southwest of Clarkboro Ferry which crosses the South Saskatchewan River. It is a bedroom community of Saskatoon. It is surrounded by the Rural Municipality of Corman Park No. 344. The community is served by the Saskatoon/Richter Field Aerodrome located immediately west of the city across Highway 12, as well as by Saskatoon's John G. Diefenbaker International Airport, only a few miles to the south.
Warman (/ˈwɔrmən/) is the ninth-largest city in the Canadian province of Saskatchewan. It is located approximately 20 kilometres (12 mi) north of the city of Saskatoon, and 5 kilometres (3.1 mi) northeast of the city of Martensville. According to the 2021 census, Warman is the fastest growing municipality in Saskatchewan, and was the fastest growing municipality in Canada between 2011 and 2016. Warman is a bedroom community of Saskatoon. The current mayor is Gary Philipchuk.

Municipal elections were held in Alberta, Canada on Monday, October 21, 2013. Mayors (reeves), councillors (aldermen), and trustees were elected to office in 16 of the 17 cities, all 108 towns, all 93 villages, all 5 specialized municipalities, all 64 municipal districts, 3 of the 8 improvement districts, and the advisory councils of the 3 special areas. The City of Lloydminster is on the Saskatchewan schedule (quadrennial), and held elections on October 24, 2012, while 5 improvement districts have no councils and are led solely by the Minister of Municipal Affairs. Since the 2010 municipal elections, portions of Lac La Biche County and the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo formed Improvement District No. 349, and the villages of New Norway and Tilley were dissolved. From 1968 to 2013, provincial legislation has required every municipality to hold elections every three years. The Alberta Legislative Assembly passed a bill on December 5, 2012, amending the Local Authorities Election Act. Starting with the 2013 elections, officials are elected for a four-year term, and municipal elections are moved to a four-year cycle.

Martensville-Warman was a provincial electoral district for the Legislative Assembly of Saskatchewan, Canada. It was created from parts of Martensville and was first contested in the 2016 election. It is currently represented by Terry Jenson from the Saskatchewan Party.

Terry Jenson is a Canadian politician, who was elected to the Legislative Assembly of Saskatchewan in the 2020 Saskatchewan general election. He represents the electoral district of Martensville-Warman as a member of the Saskatchewan Party. He serves as the Legislative Secretary to the Minister of Immigration and Career Training and serves on the Standing Committee on Human Services. In the 2024 Saskatchewan general election, he was elected in Warman.
The Saskatchewan Summer Games and Saskatchewan Winter Games are multi-sport events held in the Canadian province of Saskatchewan. The governing body for the Saskatchewan Games is the Saskatchewan Games Council, a non-profit organization who has held responsibility for organizing the Games since 2006.
