The 2017 FC Ukraine United season was the second season in the club's participation in the Canadian Soccer League. They began the season at home against FC Vorkuta B. [1] They achieved their first CSL double after defeating Burlington SC in the finals, and became the second club in the Second Division after TFC Academy II in 2012 to go undefeated the entire regular season.
After a successful debut season in the CSL the organization decided to relegate themselves to the CSL Second Division for the 2017 season. [2] Andrei Malychenkov continued in his capacity as head coach, and brought further seasoned imports from the Ukraine. Throughout the season the club achieved a club milestone by producing their first perfect season in the league. As well as generating the best offensive and defensive record. In the first round of the postseason they defeated Brantford Galaxy B, and claimed the Second Division Championship after defeating Burlington SC. [3] [4]

The 2015 Canadian Soccer League season was the 18th since its establishment where a total of 22 teams from Ontario took part in the league. The season began on May 9, 2015, and concluded on October 25, 2015. Toronto Croatia won their sixth championship in a 1–0 victory over SC Waterloo in the CSL Championship final held at Warrior Field in Waterloo, Ontario. In the regular season, the Serbian White Eagles clinched their fourth regular-season title, while Milton SC won their first second division championship.
The 2016 Canadian Soccer League season was the 19th season under the Canadian Soccer League name. The first match of the season was played on May 21, 2016, and ended on October 30, 2016. The season concluded with Serbian White Eagles claiming their second CSL Championship by defeating expansion franchise Hamilton City SC by a score of 2-1. In the Second Division, the York Region Shooters B defeated Toronto Atomic FC B 2-1. During the regular season, York Region claimed their fifth regular-season title and achieved a team milestone by recording their best defensive record allowing only 10 goals a record not matched since the Ottawa Wizards in the 2003 CPSL season. In the postseason Waterloo defeated the Serbian White Eagles FC, but were eliminated in the semifinals to FC Vorkuta.The club's top goalscorer was Miodrag Kovacevic, a former player in the Serbian First League with six goals.

Despite the team's mediocre season they still clinched the final playoff berth. Their participation in the postseason was short lived as they were eliminated by FC Ukraine United in the first round. While their reserve squad faced a similar fate in the Second Division after losing to FC Vorkuta B in the opening round. The club's top goalscorer was Slavko Knezevic with three goals.

The single new addition to the First Division was Kingsman SC, and the departures occurred in the Second Division with Halton United, London City, and Milton SC becoming founding members of the Canadian Academy of Soccer League (CASL).
