The 2017 J.League Asia Challenge was a series of friendly association football tournaments that began on 24 January and ended on 26 January. [1] It was organized by the Japan Professional Football League. The tournament is set to be a in round-robin tournament format with all matches being held at the Rajamangala Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand on 24 and 26 January.

Contents

In December 2016, Japanese teams, Kashima Antlers and Yokohama F. Marinos were confirmed to play in this tournament with Thai teams, Bangkok United and Suphanburi.

2016 FIFA Club World Cup 2016 edition of the FIFA Club World Cup

The 2016 FIFA Club World Cup was the 13th edition of the FIFA Club World Cup, a FIFA-organised international club football tournament between the winners of the six continental confederations, as well as the host nation's league champions. The tournament was hosted by Japan. Real Madrid won their second Club World Cup, defeating hosts Kashima Antlers in the final.

The 2018 Kawasaki Frontale season is their 14th consecutive season in J1 League,they are defending champions after finishing top of the 2017 J1 League. They will also compete in the J.League Cup, Emperor's Cup, and AFC Champions League.

The 2019 Kashima Antlers season involves the team competing in the J1 League, they finished 3rd in the 2018 J1 League. They will also compete in the J.League Cup, Emperor's Cup, and AFC Champions League.
