The 2018 CAMS Porsche Wilson Security Carrera Cup Australia Series was an Australian motor racing competition for Porsche 911 GT3 Cup cars. [1] The series, which was the 14th Porsche Carrera Cup Australia, commenced on 1 March at the Adelaide Street Circuit and finish on 21 October at the Surfers Paradise Street Circuit after eight rounds. 2018 saw the introduction of the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup type 991.II model to the series. [2]

Matt Campbell is an Australian racing car driver, specialising in sports car racing. He is a Porsche factory driver, having formerly been a junior then young professional. The 2022 Porsche Paynter Dixon Carrera Cup Australia is the eighteenth running of the Porsche Carrera Cup Australia motor racing series. It began at Albert Park Circuit on April 7 and it will end at Surfers Paradise Street Circuit on October 30. This series will mark the first since 2015 that Porsche Carrera Cup Australia is to be held as a national championship. This year's series will also mark the introduction of the Porsche 911 (992) GT3 Cup for use by all teams in the category.

Benjamin William "Ben" Barker is a British professional racing driver currently competing in the FIA World Endurance Championship with GR Racing. A Porsche stalwart for over a decade, he is an Australian Formula 3 champion, a Porsche Carrera Cup GB runner-up, a four-time Bathurst 12 Hour class winner and a Dubai 24 Hour overall winner. Despite limited success in the FIA World Endurance Championship, Barker is considered one of the strongest GTE Am drivers, having broken the lap record for the category at the 2018 24 Hours of Le Mans.
