The Ultra 94 Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge Canada by Yokohama was a one-make racing series based in Canada utilizing Porsche 911 GT3s. [1]

The Ultra 94 GT3 Cup Challenge Canada by Yokohama featured semi-professional drivers racing head to head in one of the largest single-make series in North America. The multi-class structure of the series taught drivers essential skills for eventual careers in the Porsche Supercup or the American Le Mans Series (Now currently as the WeatherTech SportsCar Championship).

The series was divided into two classes; the Platinum Cup, featuring more powerful Porsche 911 GT3 Cup 991.2 cars, and the Gold Cup, which included the older 991.1 model. Both classes raced on Yokohama racing tires.

The series was sanctioned by the International Motor Sports Association, and was a development series to the WeatherTech SportsCar Championship. Randy Hembrey was the Race Director from 2013 to 2014, followed by Kyle Novak. Starting in 2018, the series Race Director was John Maesky.

The series was replaced by the Porsche Carrera Cup North America starting in 2021.

Matt Campbell is an Australian racing car driver, specialising in sports car racing. He is a Porsche factory driver, having formerly been a junior then young professional. He is one of three factory drivers whose driver categorisation is gold alongside Sven Müller and Mathieu Jaminet. Campbell is the reigning champion of the 2022 IMSA SportsCar Championship in the GTD Pro class and is now a full-time driver of the #7 Porsche 963 for Porsche Penske Motorsport. Campbell won the 2016 Porsche Carrera Cup Australia driving for McElrea Racing. Campbell moved to Germany in 2017 and was third in the 2017 Porsche Supercup. Trenton Estep is an American professional racing driver. Estep grew up racing karts from the age of 4 years old in New Braunfels, Texas. He competed in various karting competitions such as SKUSA Pro Tour, Florida Winter Tour, US Open and Rotax Grand Finals in Portugal. In 2016 he made the transition from karts to open wheel cars. He entered the Formula Tour F1600, Canadian F1600 Super Series and F1600 Championship Series winning two Championships. He also ran in the opening round of the Redbull Global Rallycross Championship in Phoenix Arizona. In 2017 Estep made his transition from open wheel to cars in the North American Porsche GT3 Cup Series, with JDX Racing. Estep finished on podium 11 of 16 races with multiple wins placing 3rd in the Porsche GT3 Cup Championship. In 2018 he returned to the Porsche GT3 Cup series with JDX Racing with renewed sponsorship by Hertz Global along with a new sponsor Byers Porsche of Columbus Ohio. Estep went on to finish on Podium in 14 of 16 races winning the 2018 IMSA Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge Championship. A final honor to end his season was being chosen by Porsche Motorsports to attend the Porsche Junior Programme Shootout in Le Castellet at Circuit Paul Ricard. Estep was only 1 of 11 and the youngest at age 18 of the top Porsche drivers from all over the world under the age of 25 to receive the exclusive invite. At the end of the 2022 Porsche Carrera Cup North America season Trenton was chosen by Porsche Motorsport North America as a "Porsche Selected Driver" for 2023. Starting in 2019 through present Trenton is a professional driver coach and driver for MDK Motorsports based in Pataskala Ohio.

The 2019 Michelin GT Challenge at VIR was a sports car race sanctioned by the International Motor Sports Association (IMSA). The race was held at Virginia International Raceway in Alton, Virginia, on August 25, 2019. The race was the tenth round of the 2019 IMSA SportsCar Championship, and the sixth round of the WeatherTech Sprint Cup. Nick Tandy and Patrick Pilet won the race overall in the #911 Porsche GT Team Porsche 911 RSR leading home a 1-2 for Porsche who clinched the GTLM manufactures championship. In GTD, the #33 Mercedes-AMG Team Riley Motorsports of Ben Keating and Jeroen Bleekemolen took their first win of the season.

Porsche Carrera Cup North America is a one-make racing series that takes place in North America featuring Porsche 911 GT3 Cup cars. The series is sanctioned by the International Motor Sports Association.
