    2019 Cricket World cup saw the final match as the fifth tied match in the history of the tournament ensuring that this was the fifth world cup with a tied game (1999 Cricket World Cup – Semifinals between Australia and South Africa, 2003 Cricket World Cup – Group B match between South Africa and Sri Lanka, 2007 Cricket World Cup – Group D match between Ireland and Zimbabwe, and 2011 Cricket World Cup – Group B match between India and England).     The Sri Lanka men's national cricket team, nicknamed The Lions, represents Sri Lanka in men's international cricket.     Jean-Paul Duminy, more commonly known as JP Duminy, is a South African cricket commentator, and former international cricketer. He was vice-captain of the South Africa Twenty20 team. He is a left-handed batsman and a right-arm off spin bowler. Duminy, who is a Cape Coloured, was raised in the Western Cape and played domestic cricket for his home team, the Cape Cobras. Duminy made history when he was the first South African to take a hat-trick at a Cricket World Cup, which he did against Sri Lanka during the 2015 tournament.

    Wahab Riaz is a Pakistani cricket administrator and former cricketer who is the chief selector of Pakistan national cricket team from 17 November 2023.     Benjamin Andrew Stokes is an English international cricketer who is the captain of the England Test team and plays for the England team in ODIs and T20Is. Stokes is regarded as one of England's greatest all-rounders in the history of the sport. In domestic cricket, he represents Durham and has played in multiple Twenty20 leagues around the world. He was part of the England team that won the 2019 Cricket World Cup and 2022 T20 World Cup.

    Sompal Kami is a Nepalese professional cricketer. Kami is a right-handed batsman and a right-arm fast-medium bowler. He is one of the eleven cricketers to play in Nepal's first ever One Day International (ODI) match, against the Netherlands, in August 2018. In January 2019, he became the first bowler for Nepal to take a five-wicket haul in an ODI. He represents the Nepal Army Club of the National League, Jagdamba Giants of the Nepal Premier League, and New Horizon College, which plays in the SPA Cup.

    Kagiso Rabada is a South African international cricketer who plays all formats of the game. He is a right arm fast bowler. He made his international debut in November 2014 in limited-overs cricket before going on to make his Test debut in November 2015.
