This is a list of squads named for the seventh edition of Cricket World Cup (2003 Cricket World Cup), held in South Africa, Zimbabwe and Kenya between 9 February and 23 March 2003. The tournament saw 14 teams selected and placed in two groups. Each country was required to submit a final list of 15 players by 31 December 2002. An injured player could be replaced at any time up until the end of the tournament. [1] Replacement players who were not in the original 15-man squad are indicated in italics. The oldest player at the 2003 Cricket World Cup was Lennie Louw (43) of Namibia while the youngest was Talha Jubair (17) of Bangladesh.
Australia announced its squad for the 2003 World Cup on 31 December 2002. [2] Australia made three replacements in the squad – Ian Harvey replacing Shane Watson on 25 January 2003, [3] Nathan Hauritz replacing Shane Warne on 24 February 2003, [4] and Nathan Bracken replacing Jason Gillespie on 5 March 2003. A One Day International (ODI) is a form of 50 overs limited overs cricket, played between two teams with international status, in which each team faces a fixed number of overs, currently 50, with the game lasting up to 7 hours. The Cricket World Cup, generally held every four years, is played in this format. One Day International matches are also called Limited Overs Internationals (LOI), although this generic term may also refer to Twenty20 International matches. They are major matches and considered the highest standard of List A, limited-overs competition.
The Uganda national cricket team, nicknamed the Cricket Cranes, is the men's team that represents Uganda in international cricket. The team is organised by the Uganda Cricket Association, which has been an associate member of the International Cricket Council (ICC) since 1998.
Craig George Williams is a Namibian cricketer. He currently runs a cricket shop in Namibia besides working as a quality/quantity surveyor writing reports for insurance companies as well as loss adjusting.
Sharad Vesawkar is a Nepalese professional cricketer. He is a right-handed middle-order batsman and a right-arm off break bowler. He made his debut for Nepal against the UAE in March 2004. He played in Nepal's first ever One Day International (ODI) match, against the Netherlands, in August 2018.
Shakti Prasad Gauchan is a Nepalese former professional cricketer. An all-rounder, Shakti is a right-handed batsman and a left-arm orthodox spinner. He made his debut for Nepal against Oman in July 2002. In July 2018, he announced that he would retire from international cricket after the conclusion of Netherlands tour. In August 2018, he retired after playing the first ODI of the tour. In December 2018, he retired from all forms of cricket.
Gyanendra Malla is a Nepalese cricket coach and former captain of the Nepal national cricket team, currently serving as head coach of Nepal A team. He was a right-handed batsman and an occasional wicket-keeper. He made his debut against Namibia in March 2006. In June 2022, Edwards was named as the new captain of the Dutch cricket team, after Pieter Seelaar was forced to retire from international cricket due to a long-term back injury. Edwards is the Netherlands' seventh ODI captain.

The 2019 ICC World Cricket League Division Two was an international cricket tournament that took place in April 2019 in Namibia. It was contested by six teams; Canada, Hong Kong, Oman, Papua New Guinea, the United States and tournament hosts Namibia. It formed part of the 2017–19 cycle of the World Cricket League (WCL) which determined the qualification for the 2023 Cricket World Cup. The final and third-place playoff match were granted One Day International (ODI) status by the International Cricket Council. Namibia won the tournament, after they beat Oman by 145 runs in the final. It was Namibia's first win in an ODI match, and it was the first ever ODI match played by Oman.
