The oldest player at the 1996 Cricket World Cup was Nolan Clarke (47) of The Netherlands while the youngest player was Thomas Odoyo (17) of Kenya.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">2007 Cricket World Cup squads</span>

This is a list of the squads picked for the 2007 Cricket World Cup. This was the ninth Cricket World Cup tournament and was held between 14 March and 28 April 2007. The sixteen teams asked to announce their final squads by 13 February 2007. Changes were allowed after this deadline at the discretion of the ICCs Technical Committee in necessary cases, such as due to player injury. In order to aid the teams to select the final 15, teams were given the option to announce a 30-man squad by mid-January, with the understanding that the final squad would be picked from these 30 players. However, this was not strictly adhered to – several of England's final 15 came from outside the initial 30, for example. The oldest player at the 2007 Cricket World Cup was Desmond Chumney (39) of Canada while the youngest was Alexei Kervezee of the Netherlands.

Josh Reginald Hazlewood is an Australian international cricketer. He is a tall pace bowler known for his accuracy and has been compared to former Australian paceman Glenn McGrath. The 2010 FIFA World Cup was an international football tournament held in South Africa from 11 June until 11 July 2010. The 32 national teams involved in the tournament were required to register a squad of 23 players; only players in these squads were eligible to take part in the tournament.

Nitish Roenik Kumar is a Canadian cricketer who was the former captain of the national team. Kumar was appointed as the national men's team captain in October 2016 at the age of 22. He bats right-handed and bowls right-arm off spin. After representing the country at the 2010 Under-19 World Cup in January, Kumar made his One Day International debut the following month, becoming the second-youngest player in the history of ODIs. When Canada participated in the 2011 World Cup Kumar became the youngest player to feature in the tournament. He played his first Twenty20 International in March 2012.

Ashton James Turner is an Australian cricketer who debuted for Western Australia during the 2012–13 season, and is also contracted to the Perth Scorchers. From Perth, Turner represented Western Australia at under-15 (schoolboys), under-17 and under-19 level. and captained the under-17 team to their National Championships win. A right-arm off spinner, he toured India with the Australian under-19 team in September and October 2011, taking eight wickets from six matches in a quadrangular tournament involving the Australian, Indian, Sri Lankan, and West Indian under-19 teams. At the 2012 Under-19 World Cup, he was Australia's first-choice spinner, ahead of Victoria's Ashton Agar, and took eleven wickets from six matches, with his best figures 4/28 against Nepal.

An all-rounder, she plays as a right-arm medium bowler and right-handed batter. Between 2010 and 2019, she played international cricket for Ireland, the country of her birth, playing more than 100 matches for the side, before deciding to move to Australia. Shubman Gill is an Indian international cricketer who represents the Indian cricket team across all three formats. He is the captain of the Gujarat Titans in the Indian Premier League and plays for Punjab in domestic cricket. He is widely considered as one the best batsmen in contemporary world cricket. Gill served as the vice-captain of the Indian Under-19 cricket team in the 2018 Under-19 Cricket World Cup and won Player of the Tournament award. A right-handed opening batsman, Gill holds the record for youngest cricketer to score a double century in One Day International cricket and the highest T20I score by an individual for the Indian team. He also holds the record for the fastest player to score 2000 runs in ODIs.

The 32 national teams involved in the tournament were required to register a squad of 23 players, including three goalkeepers. Only players in these squads were eligible to take part in the tournament.

Mujeeb Ur Rahman Zadran is an Afghan cricketer, who plays for the Afghanistan national cricket team. Two months after his international debut, at the age of 16 years and 325 days, he became the youngest player to take a five-wicket haul in a One Day International match. He was one of the eleven cricketers to play in Afghanistan's first ever Test match, against India, in June 2018. It was also his first-class cricket debut. His uncle, Noor Ali Zadran, is also an Afghan international cricketer.
