The 2019 Missouri State Bears soccer team represented the Missouri State University during the 2019 NCAA Division I men's soccer season and the 2019 Missouri Valley Conference men's soccer season. The regular season began on August 30 and concluded on November 5. It was the program's 39th season fielding a men's varsity soccer team, and their 30th season in the Missouri Valley Conference. The 2019 season was Jon Leamy's 28th year as head coach for the program.

Contents

The 2019 season has proved to be one of the most successful seasons in the program's history. The program finished the regular season with a perfect 16–0–0 record, and were ranked as high as 9th in the nation in the United Soccer Coaches poll, their highest ranking since 1999. They lost in the Championship game of the MVC Tournament on penalties to Loyola Chicago. In the First Round of the NCAA Soccer Tournament they defeated Denver 1-0. In the second round they lost 2-1 at Central Florida.

The 2018–19 Loyola Ramblers men's basketball team represented Loyola University Chicago during the 2018–19 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Ramblers, led by seventh-year head coach Porter Moser, played their home games at the Joseph J. Gentile Arena in Chicago, Illinois. They were members of the Missouri Valley Conference. They finished the season 20–14, 12–6 in MVC play to earn a share of the MVC regular season championship. As the No. 1 seed in the MVC tournament, they beat Valparaiso before losing to Bradley in the semifinals. As a regular season conference champion who did not win their tournament championship, the Ramblers received an automatic bid to the National Invitation Tournament as the No. 7 seed in the TCU bracket. There they lost in the first round to Creighton.

The defending champions were the Missouri State Lady Bears, but they were eliminated from the 2018 tournament with a 1–0 loss to the Illinois State Redbirds in the opening round. This was the secondd straight year that Missouri State and Evansville played in the title game. The conference tournament title was the fourth, and third in a row for the Missouri State men's soccer program, and third for head coach Michael Seabolt. As tournament champions, Missouri State earned the Missouri Valley's automatic berth into the 2022 NCAA Division I men's soccer tournament.

The 2023 Missouri Valley Conference women's soccer tournament was the postseason women's soccer tournament for the Missouri Valley Conference held from October 26 through November 5, 2023. The Opening round and Second round was held at campus sites. The semifinals and finals took place at Cownie Sports Complex in Des Moines, Iowa. The eight-team single-elimination tournament consisted of four rounds based on seeding from regular season conference play. The defending champions were the Missouri State, who were unsuccessful in defending their crown as they fell to Valparaiso in the Semifinals. Valparaiso would go on to win the tournament over top-seed Drake, 1–0 in the Final. The conference tournament title was the first for the Valparaiso women's soccer program, and first for head coach John Marovich. Valparaiso has won two conference titles previously, but they were not in the Missouri Valley Conference. As tournament champions, Valparaiso earned the Missouri Valley's automatic berth into the 2023 NCAA Division I Women's Soccer Tournament.
