The 2013 New England Revolution season was the team's eighteenth year of existence, all in Major League Soccer. The team also participated in the Desert Diamond Cup and U.S. Open Cup. The season began with a 1-0 win at the Chicago Fire on March 9 and concluded with a 1-0 win at Columbus Crew on October 27. That victory saw the Revolution make the playoffs for the first time since the 2009 season. The team lost 4-3 on aggregate to eventual champions Sporting Kansas City in the Conference Semifinals of the 2013 MLS Cup Playoffs.

The 2015 New England Revolution season was the club's twentieth season of existence, and their twentieth in Major League Soccer, the top tier of the American soccer pyramid. The club enters the season as the defending Eastern Conference champions.

The 2016 New York City FC season was the club's second season of competition and their second in the top tier of American soccer, Major League Soccer (MLS). New York City FC played their home games at Yankee Stadium in the New York City borough of The Bronx.

The 2017 New England Revolution season was the club's 22nd season of existence, and their 22nd season in Major League Soccer, the top-flight of American soccer.

The 2019 MLS SuperDraft was the twentieth SuperDraft conducted by Major League Soccer. The SuperDraft is typically held in conjunction with the annual January United Soccer Coaches convention, which in 2019 was held in Chicago, Illinois. The first two rounds of the 2019 SuperDraft were held on January 11, 2019. Rounds three and four were held via conference call on January 14, 2019.

Outside of these two competitions, the Revolution will play in the 2022 U.S. Open Cup.

The 2023 New England Revolution season was the club's 28th season in existence, and their 28th consecutive season playing in Major League Soccer, the top flight of American soccer. The season began on February 25 when the club began their play in the MLS season. The Revolution also played in the 2023 U.S. Open Cup and the 2023 Leagues Cup. As the 6th place team overall, the Revolution qualified for the first round of the 2024 CONCACAF Champions Cup.

The 2024 New England Revolution season is the club's 29th season in existence, and their 29th consecutive season playing in Major League Soccer, the top flight of American soccer. The season began on February 21 when the club defeated Club Atlético Independiente in the first round of the 2024 CONCACAF Champions Cup. The Revolution will also play in the 2024 Leagues Cup.
