The 2020 New Holland Canadian Junior Curling Championships was held from January 18 to 26 at the Langley Curling Centre and the George Preston Recreation Centre in Langley, British Columbia. The winners represented Canada at the 2020 World Junior Curling Championships in Krasnoyarsk, Russia. [1]
In the women's final, Mackenzie Zacharias and her rink of Karlee Burgess, Emily Zacharias and Lauren Lenentine out of the Altona Curling Club in Altona, Manitoba capped off a perfect 11–0 record defeating Alberta's Abby Marks rink 10–3 including a score of four in the eighth end. It was a third championship win for Burgess as she also won the title in 2016 and 2018. In the men's final, Jacques Gauthier and his team of Jordan Peters, Brayden Payette and Zack Bilawka curling out of the Assiniboine Memorial Curling Club in Winnipeg, Manitoba defeated Newfoundland's Daniel Bruce rink 8–6 to make it an all Manitoba sweep in both the men's and women's events.

John C. Morris is a Canadian curler, and two-time Olympic gold medallist from Canmore, Alberta. Morris played third for the Kevin Martin team until April 24, 2013. Morris, author of the book Fit to Curl, is the son of Maureen and Earle Morris, inventor of the "Stabilizer" curling broom. Morris grew up in Gloucester, Ontario and at the age of five began curling at the Navy Curling Club.
Brendan Michael Bottcher is a Canadian curler from Spruce Grove, Alberta. Bottcher is a three-time provincial men's champion, and was the skip of the 2021 Canadian men's championship team, having led Alberta to victory at the 2021 Tim Hortons Brier.
Kendra Lilly is a Canadian curler from Sudbury, Ontario. She is a three-time Northern Ontario junior champion skip. She is also the former skip of the Laurentian University women's curling team.
Penny Barker is a curler from Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. She currently skips her own team out of the Moose Jaw Ford Curling Centre in Moose Jaw. She is a two-time Saskatchewan Scotties Tournament of Hearts provincial champion, winning the event in 2017 and 2022.
