Barbora Krejčíková and Kateřina Siniaková defeated Nicole Melichar and Květa Peschke in the final, 6–4, 4–6, 6–0 to win the ladies' doubles tennis title at the 2018 Wimbledon Championships. They became the first team to win the Channel Slam since Kim Clijsters and Ai Sugiyama in 2003, and the first team to win both the Wimbledon junior and senior doubles titles together.
Elise Mertens and Aryna Sabalenka defeated Barbora Krejčíková and Kateřina Siniaková in the final, 6–3, 6–2, to win the women's doubles tennis title at the 2019 Indian Wells Masters.
Elise Mertens and Aryna Sabalenka defeated Samantha Stosur and Zhang Shuai in the final, 7–6(7–5), 6–2 to win the women's doubles tennis title at the 2019 Miami Open. With the win, they completed the Sunshine Double, having won Indian Wells two weeks prior.
Ekaterina Makarova and Elena Vesnina were the defending champions, but chose not to participate this year.
Tímea Babos and Kristina Mladenovic defeated Duan Yingying and Zheng Saisai in the final, 6–2, 6–3 to win the women's doubles tennis title at the 2019 French Open.
Hsieh Su-wei and Barbora Strýcová defeated Gabriela Dabrowski and Xu Yifan in the final, 6−2, 6−4 to win the ladies' doubles tennis title at the 2019 Wimbledon Championships. With the win, Strýcová attained the WTA no. 1 doubles ranking for the first time – Kristina Mladenovic, Elise Mertens and Ashleigh Barty were also in contention for the top ranking. Hsieh and Strýcová won the title without losing a set during the tournament.
Lucie Hradecká and Ekaterina Makarova were the defending champions, but Makarova could not participate this year due to injury. Hradecká played alongside Andreja Klepač and successfully defended her title, defeating Anna-Lena Grönefeld and Demi Schuurs in the final, 6–4, 6–1.

Elise Mertens and Demi Schuurs were the defending champions, but chose not to participate together. Schuurs teamed up with Anna-Lena Grönefeld, but lost in the semifinals to Mertens and Aryna Sabalenka.
Andrea Sestini Hlaváčková and Barbora Strýcová were the defending champions, but Sestini Hlaváčková did not participate due to maternity leave. Strýcová played alongside Hsieh Su-wei, but lost in the second round to Jeļena Ostapenko and Dayana Yastremska.
Tímea Babos and Kristina Mladenovic defeated Hsieh Su-wei and Barbora Strýcová in the final, 6–2, 6–1 to win the women's doubles tennis title at the 2020 Australian Open. It was their second Australian Open title together. Despite the loss, Hsieh regained the WTA no. 1 doubles ranking for the first time since 2014, replacing her partner Strýcová. Mladenovic, Aryna Sabalenka and Xu Yifan were also in contention for the top ranking.

Shuko Aoyama and Ena Shibahara defeated Hayley Carter and Luisa Stefani in the final, 6–2, 7–5, to win the women's doubles tennis title at the 2021 Miami Open. Aoyama and Shibahara's first WTA 1000 victory earned them their third title of the year and made them the first Japanese champions in Miami since Ai Sugiyama in 2008.
Samantha Stosur and Zhang Shuai defeated Coco Gauff and Caty McNally in the final, 6–3, 3–6, 6–3 to win the women's doubles title at the 2021 US Open. It was Stosur's fourth major title in women's doubles and eighth major overall, as well as Zhang's second major title; this was the team's second major title, following the 2019 Australian Open. This was the first major final for Gauff and for McNally.
Barbora Krejčíková and Kateřina Siniaková defeated Anna Danilina and Beatriz Haddad Maia in the final, 6–7(3–7), 6–4, 6–4 to win the women's doubles tennis title at the 2022 Australian Open. It was their fourth major title together.
Xu Yifan and Yang Zhaoxuan defeated Asia Muhammad and Ena Shibahara in the final, 7–5, 7–6(7–4) to win the women's doubles tennis title at the 2022 Indian Wells Masters. They became the first all-Chinese team to win a WTA 1000-level title.
Laura Siegemund and Vera Zvonareva defeated Veronika Kudermetova and Elise Mertens in the final, 7–6(7–3), 7–5 to win the women's doubles title at the 2022 Miami Open.
Coco Gauff and Jessica Pegula defeated Leylah Fernandez and Taylor Townsend in the final, 7–6(8–6), 6–2 to win the women's doubles tennis title at the 2023 Miami Open. This marked the first all-North American final in the history of the event.
