This was also the fourth time that Nadal had won a tournament on 10 or more occasions, making him the only tennis player with the feat.
Alexander Zverev defeated Andrey Rublev in the final, 6–2, 6–3 to win the men's singles title at the 2021 Cincinnati Masters. It was his fifth ATP Tour Masters 1000 title and 17th career singles title on the ATP Tour.
