The UCF Knights men's soccer team represents the University of Central Florida in National Collegiate Athletics Association (NCAA) Division I. As of the next NCAA men's soccer season in 2023, the Knights compete in the Sun Belt Conference (SBC). This coincides with UCF's July 2023 move from the American Athletic Conference, a league in which it had been a member since 2013, to the Big 12 Conference, which sponsors soccer only for women. They play their home games on UCF's main campus in Orlando, Florida at the UCF Soccer and Track Stadium. The Knights are currently led by head coach Scott Calabrese.
The Coastal Carolina Chanticleers men's soccer team represents Coastal Carolina University in all NCAA Division I men's college soccer competitions. The team competes in the Sun Belt Conference, following previous tenures in Conference USA and Big South Conference, both of which had been prior conference homes for that ream. During their Big South tenure, the Chanticleers were one of that league's more successful teams, both within the conference and in the NCAA Tournament. In 2003, the Chanticleers became the first Big South team to reach the final sixteen in the tournament.

Assistant coaches Oliver Slawson and Chris Fidler were in their first year as assistant coaches.

They were led by 17th-year head coach Cliff Ellis for the first eight games of the season before he retired on December 8, 2023. Longtime associate head coach Benny Moss taking over for the rest of the season. They finished the season 9–22, 5–13 in Sun Belt play to finish in thirteenth place. As the No. 13 seed in the Sun Belt Tournament, they defeated Louisiana–Monroe in the first round, before losing to Louisiana in the second round.
The 2023 West Virginia Mountaineers men's soccer team represented West Virginia University during the 2023 NCAA Division I men's soccer season. They were led by head coach Dan Stratford, in his fourth season. They played their home games at Dick Dlesk Soccer Stadium. This was the team's 63rd season playing organized men's college soccer and their second playing in the Sun Belt Conference.
