Their season began on February 25, 2023, where they faced FC Dallas in Frisco. The club played its home matches at Allianz Field in Saint Paul, Minnesota. The club failed to reach the MLS Cup Playoffs for the first time since 2018. On October 6, the club fired Technical Director Mark Watson and Head Coach Adrian Heath.
