The 2023 Parramatta Eels season was the 77th in the club's history. Coached by Brad Arthur and co-captained by Clinton Gutherson and Junior Paulo, they competed in the NRL's 2023 Telstra Premiership but did not qualify for the finals. The club had 35,015 members for the year.
The Parramatta Eels kicked off the 2023 NRL season on 2 March against the Melbourne Storm at home, however lost 12-16 in golden point extra time. The Eels' first victory of the season was in round 4 against the Penrith Panthers (17-16 golden point) in the Western Sydney Derby at home. In round 26, Parramatta jeopardised Penrith's minor premiership run by defeating them 32-18 at BlueBet Stadium. The following week, the Eels had a bye and finished tenth in the competition.

The 2022 NRL Grand Final was the conclusive and premiership-deciding game of the 2022 National Rugby League season in Australia. It was contested between the Penrith Panthers and the Parramatta Eels on Sunday the 2nd of October at Accor Stadium in Sydney. Penrith, who were both the defending premiers and minor premiers, won the match 28–12 to claim their fourth premiership title, and their first back-to-back premierships in the club's 56-year history. Panthers fullback Dylan Edwards was awarded the Clive Churchill Medal for being judged as the man of the match.

Coached by Jason Ryles for his first season, and captained by Junior Paulo, the team will compete in the 2025 NRL Telstra Premiership during the regular season and will participate in the Pre-season Challenge in February during their pre-season fixtures.
