The 2023 Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs season is the 89th in the club's history. They will compete in the National Rugby League's 2023 Telstra Premiership. Cameron Ciraldo takes over as head coach of the team for his first season following the departure of Trent Barrett part way through the previous season. [1]

Fixtures

The club will started 2023 with two pre-season trial matches against the Canberra Raiders and the Cronulla Sutherland Sharks in February before kicking off the regular season away to the Manly Warringah Sea Eagles in round one. [2]

Cameron Ciraldo is an Australian professional rugby league football coach who is the head coach of the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs in the National Rugby League (NRL), and a former professional rugby league footballer. He is known as the defensive coach behind the Penrith Panthers back-to-back premierships in 2021 and 2022. He was previously the head coach of the Italy national team and an assistant coach of the Penrith Panthers in the NRL. During his playing career, Ciraldo played for the Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks, Newcastle Knights and the Penrith Panthers, all in the NRL, and was selected to represent Italy. He primarily played as a second-row or lock.

Christopher Anderson is an Australian former professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1970s and 1980s, and coached in the 1990s and 2000s. An Australian Kangaroos and New South Wales Blues representative winger, he featured in Canterbury-Bankstown's third grand final win and captained Halifax to both League and Cup success.

The 2021 Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs season was the 87th in the club's history. They were competing in the National Rugby League's 2021 Telstra Premiership, under head coach Trent Barrett who had his first season in charge of the team.

The 2022 Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs season was the 88th in the club's history. They competed in the National Rugby League's 2022 Telstra Premiership. Trent Barrett was head coach of the team for the first 10 rounds, before resigning following their 16–6 loss to the Newcastle Knights.
