The 2024 Big 12 Conference softball tournament was held at Devon Park in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma from May 8 to May 11, 2024. As the tournament winner, Oklahoma earned the Big 12 Conference's automatic bid to the 2024 NCAA Division I softball tournament.
All ten teams will be seeded based on conference winning percentage. They then will play a single-elimination tournament, with the top six seeds receiving a first-round bye. [2] [3]

It is a single-elimination tournament of four rounds, with the top six seeds getting byes in the first round. Seeding is based on regular season records. The winner of the tournament receives the Big 12 Conference automatic bid to the NCAA Championship tournament.

The Tournament has been held every year since 1997, except in 2020 when it was cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Therefore the Automatic bid was given to the regular season champion which would be Oklahoma.

Texas defeated Oklahoma State in the championship to earn their first Big 12 Tournament Championship and third Conference tournament Championship overall. Texas became the first school that was not a member of the Big Eight Conference to win the tournament.
