The 2024 Electronic Dance Music Awards ceremony was held on March 22, 2024, at the Eden Roc Hotel at the height of Miami Music Week. [1] A bevy of the nation's top radio stations broadcast the event both on-air and online on the same day. [2] The awards celebrated the very best songs, artists, festivals and more from the global electronic dance music scene, chosen by the public on EDMAs official website. The full list of nominees were announced on February 19, 2024. [3] On March 21, was announced that Mark Knight was honored with the EDMA Icon Award, and on March 31, Deadmau5 was awarded with the EDMA Legend Award. [4] [5]

Big Beat Records, Inc. is an American electronic and dance music record label, owned by Warner Music Group and operates through Atlantic Records. It was founded as an independent record label in 1986 by Craig Kallman with an emphasis on house music, and later hip hop. It was absorbed into Atlantic Records in 1998, and eventually relaunched separately in 2010 as a primarily electronic music label. Its current roster includes 100 gecs, Dog Blood, Galantis, Whethan, Cash Cash, and Clean Bandit.

Guetta was voted the number one DJ in the DJ Mag Top 100 DJs polls in 2011, and throughout 2020 until 2023. In 2013, Billboard ranked his song "When Love Takes Over" as the number one dance-pop collaboration ever.
Kelly Melissa Sweet, known professionally as Haliene, is an American singer of electropop and electronic dance music. She is known for her vocal collaborations with EDM artists Armin van Buuren, Seven Lions, ATB, Ferry Corsten, Aly & Fila, Da Tweekaz, and her song with Gareth Emery and Standerwick, "Saving Light", which won the A State of Trance award for "Tune of the Year".
International Music Summit (IMS) is an international conference on the electronic music industry that takes place annually in Ibiza over three days. IMS was co-founded in 2007 by Pete Tong, Ben Turner, Danny Whittle, Mark Netto and Simeon Friend. It consists of speakers, performers, masterclasses and the presentation of the IMS Business Report. Its primary focus is on promoting sustainable growth within the electronic music industry. In 2023, Beatport, a long-time partner of the summit, acquired a majority stake in IMS.
Porter Weston Robinson is an American DJ and electronic music producer. Born in Atlanta, Georgia, and raised in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, Robinson began producing electronic music during his adolescence. He signed to Skrillex's record label OWSLA at the age of 18 and released the extended play Spitfire in 2011. He appeared on Billboard's 21 Under 21 list in 2012.
Morten Breum, better known by his artist name Morten, is a Danish DJ and producer, together with David Guetta he developed and created the sound known as “future rave”.
Rebecca Claire Hill is an English singer and songwriter. She rose to fame after appearing on the first series of The Voice UK, auditioning with John Legend's "Ordinary People". She joined Jessie J's team and reached the semi-final of the competition.
Odesza is an American electronic music duo originating from Bellingham, Washington. It consists of Harrison Mills and Clayton Knight, known individually as Catacombkid and BeachesBeaches. They formed in 2012, shortly before Mills and Knight graduated from Western Washington University.
Anne-Marie Rose Nicholson is an English singer and songwriter. She has attained various charting singles on the UK Singles Chart, including Clean Bandit's "Rockabye", which peaked at number one, as well as "Alarm", "Ciao Adios", "Friends", "2002", "Don't Play" and "Kiss My (Uh-Oh)". Coi Leray Collins is an American rapper and singer. The daughter of rapper and media executive Benzino, she began her musical career in 2018 with the release of her debut mixtape, Everythingcoz. She signed with Republic Records to release her second mixtape EC2 (2019) and debut extended play, Now or Never (2020). In 2021, the Lil Durk remix of her song "No More Parties" peaked within the top 40 of the Billboard Hot 100 and received double platinum certification by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).
The Last Goodbye is the fourth studio album by the American electronic music duo Odesza, released on July 22, 2022 through Ninja Tune and Foreign Family Collective. It is the duo's first studio album in five years, after A Moment Apart.
Future rave is a genre of EDM coined by disk jockey/producers David Guetta and Morten Breum. The sound is noted as a combination of techno and progressive house. In 2022, the pair went on a tour under the name Future Rave. The style was popularized by other EDM artists such as Hardwell.
The Electronic Dance Music Awards is an annual music award event focusing across most all electronic dance music genres. The awards are given out across a variety of categories including Song of the Year in Dance, Tech, House and Bass genres, Best Male and Female Artist, Best Collaboration, Remix of the Year, Best New Artist, Club DJ Of the Year, and Vocalist of the Year, among many others. The 2023 Electronic Dance Music Awards celebrated the very best songs, artists, festivals and more from the global electronic dance music scene, chosen by the public on EDMAs official website. The full list of nominees were announced on February 27, 2023, and the ceremony took place at the Fontainebleau Miami Beach coinciding with the first day of Ultra Music Festival, on March 24, 2023. A bevy of the nation's top radio stations broadcast the event both on-air and online on the same day, and iHeartRadio’s Sean “Hollywood” Hamilton hosted the event. VASSY was honored with the EDMA Icon Award, becoming the first woman to receive the award. Joel Corry was the most nominated act, and the big winner of the ceremony, taking three awards out of eleven nominations.
The 2025 Electronic Dance Music Awards will take place on March 28, 2025, at the Eden Roc Hotel during the height of Miami Music Week.
