The 2024 Electronic Dance Music Awards ceremony was held on March 22, 2024, at the Eden Roc Hotel at the height of Miami Music Week. [1] A bevy of the nation's top radio stations broadcast the event both on-air and online on the same day. [2] The awards celebrated the very best songs, artists, festivals and more from the global electronic dance music scene, chosen by the public on EDMAs official website. The full list of nominees were announced on February 19, 2024. [3] On March 21, was announced that Mark Knight was honored with the EDMA Icon Award, and on March 31, Deadmau5 was awarded with the EDMA Legend Award. [4] [5]

Its primary focus is on promoting sustainable growth within the electronic music industry. In 2023, Beatport, a long-time partner of the summit, acquired a majority stake in IMS.

Future Rave is a genre of EDM coined by disk jockey/producers David Guetta and Morten Breum. The sound is noted as a combination of techno and progressive house. In 2022, the pair went on a tour under the name Future Rave. The style was popularized by other EDM artists such as Hardwell.

The Electronic Dance Music Awards. It is an annual music award event focusing across most all electronic dance music genres. Every March the event is held at the Eden Roc Miami Beach Hotel in Miami during the Ultra Music Festival / Miami Music Week. The awards are given out across a variety of categories including Song of the Year in Dance, Tech, House and Bass genres, Best Male and Female Artist, Best Collaboration, Remix of the Year, Best New Artist, Club DJ Of the Year, and Vocalist of the Year, among many others. The EDMAs are known as a star-studded affair, featuring a slew of leading DJs, music producers, international press and others comprising the industry's corps d'elite.
